I'm feeling a bit grotty today so we are having a quieter day at home. I've given the kids access to Now TV to explore that whilst I am in my work meeting. I'm not planning on keeping the subscription long, so they might as well get good use of it while they can!
I'll be able to get stuck into my book later as well hopefully
I'm just doing some listing for DH whilst I'm waiting to log on. I'm also trying to arrange meet ups for the kids and their friends. I'm so antisocial, it's a nightmare, but needs must!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi everyone
Hope everyone is well. I'm feeling better today thankfully, but in full on CBA mode today. I've just done some ebay listing for DH and am going to try and set myself small targets of doing 15 minutes of something each hour. The other 45 minutes I can just chill out (or continue if I get my mojo). I'm enjoying my new book, so expect plenty of 45 min breaks to read
It's wet here today, so I don't think we'll be doing much otherwise. The kids are already arguing though, so I've separated them with different tasks for now. Hopefully they will be a bit less grumpy later!
I've got leftover chicken breast and stuffing in the fridge which I want to turn into something for dinner tonight. I'm thinking some sort of pie, I've got bacon in the freezer which I can also add. I CBA to make pastry so will probably top with mash. Any other thoughts or recipes welcome as otherwise this is just going to be a chuck it all together and hope for the best situation
My bath mats turned up and were surprisingly nice considering they cost less than £8! They are nice underfoot and non slip too.
I did buy a new bag too. My normal bag's handle is coming off, so I bought a new one. It's a bit wasteful considering I could just try and repair the old one, but I wanted a smaller bag anyway. The new one has arrived and looks good and sturdy and was only £15. I will still try and repair the old one so that I can still use it on the days when I do need a bigger bag.
DH had to go to OOH GP last night as he hurt his thumb the other day and it's been swollen a couple of days, and yesterday afternoon it was clear it was infected. He's now on antibiotics for that.
I'm still making sure I do my PADs every day, so things are still going down, even if I haven't yet got a grip on my spending! I think I'm done for now, but I do need to sort out all the kids uniforms etc, but I shouldn't need to do any frivolous spending for a while."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". My 15 mins are working well at the moment, it's surprising how much can be fit in!

- Put recycling out
- Peeled potatoes and prepped rhubarb for stewing later
- Chopped and froze some chives
- Washed down sides

- Cleaned bathroom
- Washed bathroom floor
- Washed banister
- Wiped down hall table
- Hoovered through
- Sorted washing
- Hoovered through including stairs
- Tidied front room

Well my 15 mins an hour is working well, I've pretty much tidied through the whole house. If only I did this more often, I'd achieve so much more! It's much less pressure."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4

I slowed down this afternoon
10am - Kitchen- Put dishes away
- Put recycling out
- Peeled potatoes and prepped rhubarb for stewing later
- Chopped and froze some chives
- Washed down sides
- Cleared and cleaned windowsill
- Put washing on

- Washed bathroom floor
- Washed banister
- Wiped down hall table
- Hoovered through
- Sorted washing
- Hoovered through including stairs
- Tidied front room
3pm - washed down sofas
4pm - sorted some more washing.
That's me for today apart from cooking and tidying up after.
I'm pleased with what I've achieved today"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4
