I always read but just catching up and that picture has made me feel a bit more excited. Its our favourite beach and we will be there in 3 weeks but the anxiety about going away always makes me hate holidays. In all the years we've been we even managed to find the holy well last time we were there.

Sounds like a perfect day! I am a bit of a cake snob & lovehome made cake so please save me a slice😁. Ooh Judy Blume takes me back to my early teenage years. Lots of washing here too - 5 loads today & only 2 dry so far today 🤦🏻♀️. Also with you on RM - have managed to get on one of the others starting Monday so happy about that however I had an international parcel to post today - stuck 14 large letter stamps on it 😂.Hope tomorrow is a good day for you all x6

Well done on the decluttering. What's your plan for the boxes, are they donate or sell? If you can get them out, then you'll feel so much bettersavingholmes said:Cake and books sound fabBalanceBy50 said:Sounds like a perfect day! If you are a cake snob don't come here 😂 I slightly overcooked the choc chip ones. They are fine but a bit dry. Well done on getting on the RM survey, the others are so much better value! - this is what custard is made for 🤣🤣🤣

The custard comment made me laugh. My gran bought me a birthday cake from goodness knows where one year. My cousins and I took turns knocking on the top of it and my aunty said rather grimly "never mind, we'll have it with custard". 😂 Gran produced a fruit cake one Christmas that we got the knife stuck in when we tried to cut it. She obviously had a secret supply from a dodgy bakery somewhere.
