Happy Bank Holiday everyone
We are having a quiet day. DH is working and it's meant to be rubbish weather later so just chilling.
A few more parcels packed and posted today. Ebay has all changed and I hate the new look. It's so many more clicks to do everything, and you can't get a decent overview like we used to be able to. To top it all off, the postage isn't working so I'm having to input it all individually to the external site. I am not impressed! I've told DH he'd better get on with clearing so we can ditch it altogether! I've set up our bank accounts this morning as we are switching to managed payments. Hopefully that is less of a faff than the rest of it. I'm sure we'll get used to it, but it seems a huge step backwards!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Your break in Cornwall sounds lovely and the picture looked idyllic. I bet it did you a lot of good

I think you're amazing coping with eby as it would stress me out having to list things all the time.

Now that I don't 'need' the money, I hate doing ebay, but it's the only way to encourage DH to declutter so I need to keep going.
Managed payments is ebay's new thing - instead of using Paypal it's using their own system and the money goes straight to the bank account. I'm still self managing my debts, and it's easy enough so no plans to change."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've got a lot fewer meetings this week, so I've managed to achieve a lot more at work. It's so much more satisfying (I'm not a fan of meetings
) My anxiety seems to be up a bit again, not sure why.
I've managed to nag persuade DH to book his eye test. He last had one about 2 years ago, and was meant to go back after a year so they could keep an eye on what they thought might be an early issue. He didn't go back due to covid last year, so is overdue. Sadly the first available appointment was July, but at least it's booked.
I've redeemed a £5 amazon voucher and cashed in £3 from another survey site. I've been doing my PADs as well so it's all creeping down slowly."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've redeemed another £5 amazon voucher today and £7 odd from PA.
I had a hassle at the PO this morning trying to post my RM survey items, they wouldn't accept them. So I'm waiting to hear back what to do about that. It's too much of a faff now, so I think this time will most likely be my last time doing the panel. I'm not impressed with RM anyway, there is too much stuff not arriving or being very late. My nephew's birthday card has not arrived for the second year running. Last year it didn't turn up at all. Hopefully this time it will still turn up in the next day or so. I post well in time and first class but nothing I've posted in the last year or so has arrived less than a week later. I actually put it in a jiffy bag this time, in the hope that it would arrive sooner, in case they are prioritising parcels over letters, but still no joy.
I voted this morning, though we just have the police and crime commissioner elections here."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -
