I hope everyone is well. I'm glad it's the weekend. I managed to have an easier day at work today so that's started me off well.
My anxiety has not gone, but it's hugely better than it was, in that I can function at the moment. It makes life so much easier. DH says he's getting on with the decluttering this weekend, so fingers crossed. It's also his turn for doing the swimming lessons so I won't have to go out unless I choose to. I'll try and do a bit of tidying this weekend I think.
Payday today and so everything not on DD has been paid. I've done a price comparison for DH's car insurance and we can save £100! Result! I've done it each year so not sure why the saving is so much this year. We're not complaining though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
So pleased that your anxiety has lessoned.
Enjoy your weekendxx

DH has taken little miss to her swimming lesson so I'm trying to do some listing. He had a bit of a sorting and tidying flurry yesterday which was fab
After little miss's lesson she wants to do parkrun so we will head down for that, and I think little jwil is going to run as well. I love her determination, she really focusses on what she wants to achieve 😍 She doesn't want DH to walk around with her, or to run with little jwil, she wants to go on her own. It's too hard to let go! I can't bear the thought of her being out of sight on her own, even if there are marshals at regular points and there would be loads of people around. It's more about if she fell over or something. Luckily my best friend has decided to come up with her son too, and she will take him round, so at least there will be someone familiar near her! I think that is an acceptable level of supervision for little miss

She sounds impressively energetic. I would want to keep a discrete eye too - although I've lost track of what ages your kids areAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

She's only 5. She went around with my friend and then DH did a lap with her as well (it's a 2 lap course).
I'm very impressed with her though, we went to the park after, and she's been out on her scooter as well since she came home. It's nice to see them active.
As we were coming home we popped to see how a local park which is being renovated is looking, the kids are looking forward to it reopening. I then popped to the farm shop and got a sack of potatoes, and a number of cakes. Their doughnuts are amazing, and their doughnut of the month is lemon meringue, so we just had to try them
We are having toad in the hole for lunch, and then chilling out this afternoon. Hope everyone is having a good day"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4
