Happy weekend everyone.
Back to swimming for the kids this weekend. They are so happy to be back, and it's nice to have a bit of normality again, even if the timing on a Saturday is a pain. Little jwil's been today, and little miss tomorrow.
DH sold 13 items last night, so they were posted this morning. One bulky item gone and still another 4 items selling later todayHe's been sorting some more this afternoon.
I watched the funeral this afternoon whilst decluttering a book. I finished sorting through my bookcases the other day and have a pile of non-fiction to look through and then probably get rid of. These are all big hardbacks so a lot of space will be gained from them. First one done today. It's cleared enough space to store my paperwork files within the bookcase rather than on top, so I have a surface clear and can use that to display something nice."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I saw car boot sales are back soon, I can't remember if you sell at them? I remember you like buying stuff there though so maybe not a helpful suggestion!5

Our local one starts today. DH is going to have a look today. He's been warned not to buy stuff!
The one we like to sell at most isn't due to start for a month or two yet and I haven't heard about another local one. I'm sure we will be selling at some point this year.

Yes it's a pain taking them. It's only half an hour a lesson. I have contemplated going to the gym at the same time, but I'll consider that when they are a bit older and after covid restrictions are gone.

I had my call from the GP today. I've been given some anti acid medication to try for a couple of weeks, and if that doesn't make a difference to go back. I've also been put back on the anxiety meds with a review in a month again. I'll go in the morning and get the prescriptions. Fingers crossed it helps!
Back to work today as well. I'm a bit overwhelmed with the amount of stuff going on at the moment. I seem to be back to back meetings and webinars this week. I hate that as there's little time to do any actual work so it just keeps building up. The kids are happy to be at school and it's been a lovely day so I sat in the sun with my laptop which is one of the real joys of working at home
I also got a compliment from Mr T delivery driver today, he said he likes delivering to me as I am so quick taking it in 😆 That's because I'm always there with my trolley bags and just lob it all in. I'm usually working anyway so have to get on with it."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
