At least you know there's a reason for the way you feel and it doesn't last long. Mine was 2 days of bed and sleeping on and off and the third day I was up but had an afternoon nap, day 4 I was digging in the garden. I am still having some fatigue in the afternoons and for whatever reason my skin feels over sensitive but if that's the worst of it, I'll cope.8

Do not feel guilty. If you're not fit to work it's as simple as that - you're not fit to work. You're obviously not the sort of person who gives up at the first sign of a sniffle. You would only have made yourself worse if you had forced yourself to go in to work and don't even think about working from home. Your body is telling you to rest. Take your time until you feel well enough. I had virtually no reaction to the jab but lots of people have. Take care of yourself and if it doesn't get better in a few day contact your doctor.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9

Poor you - did you have the Astra zeneca or the Pfizer- lots of [people have reported feeling unwell after the AZ.7

I hope you feel better soon. I was glad we were still home schooling and the children didn't need me the day after the jab as i was so tired and achy. I wasn't right the next day, but certainly better and by the 3rd day i was pretty much back to being myself. Make sure you restMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Morning
Well I feel a bit better but I am definitely not well. That's for sure. I had the AZ vaccine and I hear that's bad for side effects. Apart from my arm, my leaden limbs are feeling lots better, but I cannot seem to get any sleep. I just lie about, shattered, and desperate to doze over but completely unable to. I was in bed by 8pm but it was some time after 1130 when I finally fell asleep - then I woke up just after 3am and haven't been able to get back to sleep again. I feel blimming awful.
I'm wondering whether or not to force myself out for a short walk, which might tire me out enough to sleep once I get back. But I've rang in again at work because I know I'll be no good in front of the kids today. What a pain - it's easily as much hassle setting cover as it is dragging yourself in.
My appetite seems to have returned too. So I need to make sure that I get some decent food today - got to help myself as much as I can.
Take care all of you...

So sorry that the vaccine has had such an awful effect on you. I hope you feel better soon.
