    Thanks Julie

Spent £44.67 on petrol and £7.61 on food yesterday.  We got sausages, rolls, snacks and water to take camping - not ww friendly but so yummy!  We drove into the Cairngorms and camped beside a loch, it was beautiful and so quiet.  Went food shopping for the week on the way back and spent £27.07.  Had the roast beef joint from the butchers for tea and will definitely get it again, so much tastier than the usual supermarket one.  Even better, there's leftovers for tomorrow's tea

Back to work tomorrow - clothes are looked out and lunch is prepared so heading off for an early night.

First day at work went well although felt very weird to be back because I haven't worked there properly for about 14 months.  A NSD today

    Thanks beanie

Needed bread, milk and coffee yesterday so £3.34 spent.  Nothing else much to report - work was good, went a nice although a bit blustery walk after work and then chilled with OH in the evening.

Walked up to the shop after to get more veg, rice and a paper for OH - £8.72 spent.

I can't remember if I said but OH is going to college this year to do a computing course and it starts on Monday.  He gets his fees funded and has applied for a bursary but hasn't heard back yet about it.  Fingers crossed he gets it although the household income is taken into account so I may earn too much.  We had a chat last night about what would happen if he didn't get a bursary and discussed that I would give him an agreed amount each month for any expenses he has.   He did the same for me when I went to uni many many years ago.  We've agreed on £100 a month which is affordable for me, it just means the savings pots would go up a little slower.  The other thing is he needs a laptop, our old laptop eventually died about 3 years ago and was never replaced as we just use the tablet/phones for netf!ix, browsing the internet, etc.  He will use money from the emergency fund to buy a laptop and then replace the money if he does get a bursary.  I'm off work tomorrow so we'll go laptop shopping then although I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news on the bursary today.

With the possible increased financial outgoings, we'll need to rework the budget and make sure we are being extra careful.  However hopefully the longer term financial gain of OH retraining and getting back to work will make it worthwhile.

Right best get myself sorted for work, hope everyone has a good day

Thanks beanie.  Laptop shopping went well, we had looked online last night so had already agreed on which one to get.  £299.99 spent plus I transferred £100 to OH's account so the emergency fund has taken quite a bit today.  On the plus side, at least it hasn't gone on the credit card and the emergency fund still has over £500 in it

I popped round for lunch at my gran's today and have also got on with some more painting.  Have also decluttered a bin bag full of tat and identified more items to go to the tip so a productive day off.

We've done a menu plan for next week and I'll go shopping on Sunday after work.  It's mostly fruit and veg plus bin bags, tea, coffee, milk and eggs so hoping to spend under £25.

Spent £34.82 yesterday which was a bit more than hoped for.  Shopping in Lid! only came to £17.50 but then OH asked me to pop to B&M's to get a certain biscuit he likes so I stocked up and got 8 packets but also ended up buying juice, laundry capsules, deodorant, cereal bars and a few other bits.  None of it particularly needed right now but it will all get used up.  OH is totally getting the blame for my overspend though

Just realised the time so better go and get ready for work - will post the rest later.

Lost another 3 pounds at weigh in yesterday taking me to 13 pounds lost.  Hopefully I'll hit the stone mark next week

Painting is now almost done, bought more paint today and spent £11.99.  Just need to move the last bit of furniture and paint behind it tomorrow.  Decluttered another 2 bin bags of tat from the room and identified yet more objects to go to the tip.  Really need to do that this week.

Can't mind what else I was planning to post this morning and absolutely shattered so heading off for an early night.
