Do you need anything from b and m if not then don't go because you'll spend money in something you don't necessarily need.
That was exactly my thinking Sarah, I always spend more than planned at b&m.  There was nothing I really needed so I decided against popping in.

Looking forward to seeing the flat deposit savings grow, the little bits may not seem much at first but you have already proved it works when you were chipping away at the debt . That's now gone, and the flat deposit will grow from an acorn to a tree :-)
    Thanks Boodedoo

Working this weekend so better get shifting.  I've got my gym stuff packed so will pop to the gym after work.  Today should also be a NSD.

Today was a NSD but didn't manage the gym.  Ended up finishing work late so home and pjs seemed like a better option

Did the weekly shop yesterday and spent £55.59.  Rather more than I hoped to spend but did buy various store cupboard bits which will last ages.  I also bought petrol which was £39.27.

I try and look at food shopping on a monthly basis rather than weekly as like you some weeks I spend more than I would like and others not so much. Usually when have to buy household stuff rather than food. This week is laundry stuff for me and bin liners. Such an exciting life I lead 😂

Definitely better to look at it monthly  as it generally all evens out.

Forgot to say yesterday - weigh in and was just under 10 stone so really happy with this  although I'm currently on night shift which always screws up my healthy eating.

NSD yesterday and today should be the same as only plans are go home to nap and then go out a nice long walk later depending on the weather.

Thanks beanie   I'm really proud of myself as I've never really properly been on a 'diet' before and I don't in any way feel like I'm depriving myself.  It's just reset my attitude towards food if that makes sense.

NSD today and managed a walk.  It's not been a good day health wise.  I had to change my stoma bag 4 times within the space of 6 hours because I kept getting leaks, 1 bag usually lasts 2 days so really not great.  Thankfully leaks don't happen often but it really dents my confidence when they do and the skin round the stoma is now raw, itchy and generally uncomfortable feeling so feeling a bit sorry for myself today   Nevermind, tomorrow is another day and will hopefully be better.

Wednesday I spent £5.52 on milk, bread and tatties.  Thursday and Friday were NSDs.  Today I've spent £12.19 on the weekly shop although I still need to get coffee at some point as I don't like the coffee from Lid!.  I've also spent £90 on my sister's birthday present although I'll get £60 back from my dad and brother.

The car went in for its MOT yesterday and failed   Total cost to get it passed (including the MOT price) is £426.24.  Absolutely gutted especially after all the money I spent on it earlier this year.  Ah well at least I've got the money in the car fund to cover it.  What's left should cover the car insurance which is due next month.

Currently walking to work as I can't pick up my car until Tuesday.  Lovely day so it doesn't feel like a hardship - exercise and saves on bus fare.  May walk home later, will see how I feel.  Today has been a NSD so far, had a lazy morning and didn't do much other than video chat with my mum.
