Have you thought of buying a new battery?
Didn't even know you could do that INOD.  Thanks, will look into it.

Took the back off my phone to look at the battery so that I could order the right one but unfortunately it seemed to be screwed into the phone and it says 'non-user replaceable battery'.  So I guess getting a new battery is out, ah well it will last a few months until I save enough money for a new phone.

Not much to report over the last few days - did a food shop yesterday which included buying picnic food and some pre-mixed cans of g&t for a picnic with my friend.  It was lovely to see her but I bought far too much food so OH had leftovers for his tea and there's still enough for both of us for lunch today.  Need to watch the food budget as somehow only have £45.99 left for the month.

Plan for today is skyping my mum at 10am then I'm going to nip to Lid! as I forgot to get eggs and flour yesterday.  Menu plan is done for the week so won't need anything else although it's my last day at work on Thursday so I'm going to take in pizza and cake for lunch.  Will get that on Wednesday night though.

Weigh in day today so 2 pounds off this week making a total of 8 pounds so far.  Although I don't think you can tell I've lost weight, I no longer feel as though I'm bursting out of my jeans

NSD yesterday and today should be the same.  On a late shift today so just out for a quick walk to get my step count up.  Popped a banana loaf in the oven before I went out so that will be ready by the time I get home.  It's a weight watchers recipe so hopefully will be as good as my usual one.  Got more bananas to use up so also going to try banana, oat and raisin bites, again a ww recipe.

Felt really yucky last night, no idea why but went to bed early and woke up feeling my usual self today.  Only 3 days left of work to go

Oops haven't posted for a week, kept meaning to but somehow never got round to it.

I finished up work on Thursday and got a lovely bottle of flavoured gin and flowers.  I had taken in pizza and cake for all the staff and service users so had a nice leaving lunch although we were spread out over several rooms to maintain social distancing.

Friday I had a fairly leisurely day other than going for a walk around the park with OH.

Saturday I got up at 4.45am so that I could watch the live streaming of my friends wedding in Australia which was lovely.  They were meant to be having a reception in Scotland in October but that's obviously been put on hold due to covid.  I also popped to Lid! for a few things and spent £14.14.

Sunday me and OH went for a walk around the university and did some gardening.  Weigh in day for me so half a pound off which is a little bit disappointing but at least still a loss

Yesterday I went for a run/walk - unfortunately I got a horrendous stitch about 10 minutes into my run so had to walk the rest.  Really disappointed as I've not had a stitch for ages but it was the first time I have ran in a few weeks so hopefully next time will be better.  I also freshened up the paint in the bathroom and OH painted a wall in the bedroom.  The bedroom is just getting painted white at the moment as we couldn't decide on a colour but wanted rid of the magnolia.  Even just having one wall done looks so much better.

Plan for today is a 2nd coat on the bedroom wall and pull out the furniture to start painting the next wall.  We would like to replace most of the bedroom furniture as it is all stuff we got for free or very cheap, none of it matches and some of it is looking very tatty.  So we'll save up some money and then probably head to ike@.

I've agreed to meet a friend this afternoon, the original plan was to go for a walk but it's raining and windy.  Thankfully the restrictions have been partially lifted so we can leave the city or go into other people's houses now so will probably go to hers for a coffee.  I also need to get some milk, coffee, fruit and veg.  Oh and petrol too.

I start my job again on Monday so this week we'll get the bedroom painting finished and do a general clear out of the flat.  There's various bits and bobs to go to the charity shop and to the tip.

Think that's it, will try and post more regularly.  Hope everyone is well

Ended up spending £24.63 in the supermarket yesterday which is way more than I meant to but that should do us until the end of the week apart from milk and bread.  I'll go shopping again on Sunday to get stuff for work lunches.

I also spent £3.88 on a coffee and cake from C0sta as me and my friend got takeaway and sat in a shelter at the beach.  Cake was nice but definitely not worth the points  Went over my points for the 3rd day in a row so need to make sure I stick to it for the rest of the week, currently enjoying a smoothie for breakfast

OH has made plans with a friend this afternoon so while he's out, I'll get on with more painting.

    Payday on Friday - £1915.83
    - £950 usual bills
    - £150 car
    - £230 food/cleaning/toiletries
    - £50 new phone
    - £150 emergency fund
    - £200 car fund
    - £50 home fund
    - £50 presents
    - £70 petrol
    - £15.83 flat deposit

Next month I should reach £1000 in the emergency fund  so can then use the money I've been putting towards it (usually £150-200 a month) for something else, probably the flat deposit.

    Thanks beanie

Attempted a run yesterday but again not very successful as I started feeling really sick.  I think the issue was I've been drinking fizzy flavoured water as I find it makes me feel less hungry but I'd had a glass not long before I went running and it felt like it was sloshing around.

Did some more painting yesterday but still needs a lot done to it as it's quite a big room.  My neighbour gave us some canvasses she was getting rid of.  I'm not all that keen on them but they are the perfect size for what we want so am going to look into covering them with fabric or something.  Yesterday I bought more masking tape, toilet roll and sandpaper (£5.97).  The headboard for our bed was painted a cream colour when we got it which has now flaked and chipped so plan to sand it down and repaint if required.

Currently out for a walk along the beach - it's very windy but lovely.  Plan for the rest of the day is to do more painting, possibly cut the grass and fill up the car with items to take to the tip tomorrow.

More painting has been done and I cut the grass but we never got round to filling the car up for a tip run.  Ah well various items have been identified to go and are in one pile now ready for another day.

We headed into town yesterday, the first time since the start of lockdown which was strange but nice.  We went round all the charity shops that were open and I got 3 tops and a pair of jeans for £13   I also bought some new (and very much needed!) bras for £20.  We then went to a butcher's recommended by a friend.  They sell lots of lean meat and the number of ww smart points is indicated on the packet which is very helpful.  They also do a lot of 3 for £10 offers so £20 spent and we got mince, a roast beef joint, burgers, 2 packs of chicken and pork chops.  OH doesn't really eat that much meat anyway but I eat it most days so going to try to eat less but better quality.  We also bought a wee camping stove and gas for £23 as we're away camping tonight.

Payday yesterday so all the various pots have been filled.  Really need a haircut which has not been budgeted for so will see if I can save some money from the groceries and petrol budgets.

Have weighed myself this morning as won't be near scales tomorrow morning - 1.5 pounds off so a total loss of 10 in 4 weeks.  Really really pleased with this and my jeans definitely fit better, I no longer feel like I'm about to burst out of them
