NSD yesterday and today I've given my neighbour £10 to pay for the brown bin and bought 2 plant pots (£6.58).

I managed a run again this morning :). Weight watchers is generally going fine but had a bit of an epic fail today - went round to my gran's for coffee and she offered me cake.  I took a bit as it was fruit cake so I didn't think it would be too bad.  Turns out it was more than a third of my daily points so won't be doing that again.

Think I'll do a bit of a stock up of food as where I live has had a cluster of covid cases related to a pub.  Hopefully it's contained and won't spread further but I want to be prepared in case we have to go into lockdown again.

Yep in Scotland beanie and we're back in lockdown   Did a quick food shop on the way home and got various bits to stick in the freezer plus pasta, tins and of course toilet rolls  total spend was £36.78.  Absolutely shattered for some reason this evening so off to bed just now.

    Very true beanie

Not much has been happening since I last posted - just working and getting out for a walk each day.  Weigh in for weight watchers today and I have lost 6 pounds!!  I know it's just the first week loss but it does give me motivation to keep going.  I need to pop to the supermarket today to get more fruit and veg as I'm eating so much more now.  Unfortunately I'm having a few issues with my stoma which I don't know if it's related to eating more fruit and veg or something else.  Will give the nurse a call tomorrow.

    Thanks beanie and julie

Spent £18.10 in the supermarket yesterday which was fruit, veg and jelly pots for me plus a Sunday paper and juice for OH.  Meal plan has been done for the week ahead and we shouldn't need to buy anything else apart from possibly a top up of fruit towards the end of the week.

Best get ready for work - only 9 days to go and then have 11 days annual leave

Spoke to the nurse yesterday so I am to make sure I drink more water and try replacing some of the fruit I'm eating with a smoothie so going to make one for breakfast this morning.  I've just got a hand blender but might look into getting a proper blender if I'm going to make smoothies regularly.

Ordered some more masks yesterday and spent £28.55.  We currently have one each and just use disposable masks if it's in the wash, this way we will have 3 each.

Sitting here listening to the thunder and rain, definitely needed as it was so hot and sticky yesterday.  On a late shift today so had planned to go for a walk/run this morning but thinking actually probably not

I'm going to start saving for a new phone.  I've got a SIM only contract that I'm happy with but my phone is coming up on 4 years old and the battery life is pretty non-existent, I have to charge it multiple times a day.  Don't need anything super fancy so will aim to save £150 for this.
