Thanks Sarah, beanie and INOD.  I picked the car up yesterday so now am a lot poorer but at least have a fixed car!

Today has been a NSD.  I planned to go for a run after work but it was so hot that I couldn't face it and I somehow managed to rack up over 11,000 steps at work  so opted for a lazy evening instead.  It should be cooler tomorrow so I'll run after work.

I need to pop to the supermarket tomorrow as we need milk, tea bags, fruit and salad.  Hoping to have at least £10 left of the food budget at the end of the month to put into the car fund.

Fixed car is good news :-)  I think you deserve a 'lazy evening' after all those steps!

  • Just had a good catch up on the diary and will now be cheering you on
You have done amazing paying off the CC's etc, It feels rubbish emptying an EF (I've just recently wiped mine out) but I suppose that's what they are there for and its better than sticking them back on CC.
How have you found running lately with the weather?  I try do to 3kish a few times a week at my best, i'm not very fit but it clears my head :) I haven't done any in weeks !!

    Thanks Boodedoo and Lookafterthepennies :)

Not posted for a while, been really struggling with low mood and motivation this week.  Can't really see any trigger for it other than it's coming up for a year for when I fell really ill.  Had a long chat with my mum and dad yesterday and definitely feel a bit brighter today.

Me and OH went for a long walk along the beach today.  Most of the cafes were open selling takeaway drinks and food so OH had a cup of tea and I had a salted caramel ice cream cone which was amazing.

We also did a supermarket shop and spent £95.37 which was rather more than expected but that included a stock up on cleaning products and store cupboard items plus the fridge and freezer are full.

Haven't been running at all this week due to feeling rubbish but plan to go for one after work tomorrow.

Thanks INOD, definitely beginning to feel more like my usual self.

Off work today and tomorrow which I'm very glad about as it's been a stressful week so far.

Have a horrible niggling headache this morning so currently out for a walk to see if the fresh air will clear it although it's just started to rain so it may be a very quick walk!

Well I got absolutely soaked yesterday and am currently putting off going for a walk as it's raining again.  I need to get some milk and was planning to get it on the way back from my walk.  Ah well if it doesn't stop, I'll just pop to the corner shop and do a work out at home.

I've bought boat tickets for heading home in 2 weeks.  I haven't seen my mum since Christmas, my dad and brother since January and my sister since February so am super excited to be seeing everyone.

Those emergency and car funds are looking good again after all the work you had done on the car.
Have a super time, not seeing family has been very hard for everyone this year, I am sure it will be wonderful for you all. Its great to have things to look forward to again.

Thanks Boodedoo.  I can't wait to see everyone and my sil had twin boys on Friday so hopefully they'll be home by the time I visit <3.

Not much to report - really hard going weekend at work, I already feel like I need a day off and my next day off is Saturday :/.  Did a very small top up yesterday, got bread, eggs and fruit (£6.50 spent).  Got out in the garden after work and did some weeding, as it's been quite warm and wet here recently there was a lot.  Will try and do a bit more after work today.  The plants that my neighbour gave me are now flowering which is lovely and another neighbour gave me some plant pots so I need to get some compost and decide what to put in them.

Still not got the motivation to go for a run, I had planned to yesterday but I was 2 hours late finishing work and by the time I got home, all motivation had gone.  Will try to go for one either today or tomorrow.  Possibly more likely tomorrow as I think it's going to be very warm today.  Right better get organised for work, hope everyone has a good Monday

Didn't manage the garden after work yesterday or go for a run as it was raining.  I had been for a walk with one of the service users during the day so still managed to get my 10,000 steps :)

NSD yesterday and today should be the same.  Slept better last night so feel almost human this morning  really must make sleep a priority as I find I'm really struggling in the morning to wake up and then by mid afternoon, I feel like I could just fall asleep at my desk.  Also need to make healthy eating a priority as my diet has been pretty awful recently and I've gained a few pounds.  Have got a veg omelette and salad for lunch plus fruit for snacking and tea will be chicken stirfry and noodles.  I know I eat far too many carbs - white bread is my downfall but it's hard to resist when I couldn't eat it for so many years!
