Yes - that is very successful and a tribute to your (just enough) hard work.

Make sure the EA tells everyone you already have offers above asking.  The EA commission is such that a few extra grand on the price only translates to £50 or so, so they will not be too bothered whereas for you its a few grand.  Also the highest bid is good (and default position), but if you sense they are flaky (ie might withdraw or reduce) then go with someone a bit cheaper.  Your advantage is that you can wait it out, and you already know that viewers wont be a problem.  

However you will need to complete in time to avoid the stamp duty on yours (as that would inevitably come off your offer).  Good luck with your machinations and take advice from the EA, but don;t be bounced or rushed - a little of your steely determination could earn you well.  Then when buying as a cash buyer you should be able to attract a premium discount for being able to proceed quickly - don't give that away.  But I suspect your purchase plans are a topic for a future post

Just a thought about renting in your new area 
its a good idea but most rentals are for a 6month period rather than 3 months.  That said you will hopefully be selling at the top of the curve and buying in 6months when everyone says prices will stabilise.  It might also take you 6months to find somewhere and get all the legals etc completed so it might work out well for you.

Glad that you are still reading my first diary DIA 😼
Looking back at my unstable self back then , in a way it's a good way of getting tips here and there in a strange kind of way . For example , me trying to secure getting that posh flat on the key to rent , when I thought it was a b&b type place 🤦‍♂️

Then trying to secure the rented flat for six months , contacting letting agents directly etc
When I was looking for those things , it was getting desperate .

You have all that to come , but  with all of those viewings in such a short time eventually you'll find the right place and that feeling of the pressure disappearing is not too far away.

I’ve been away for a few days looking after my relative. I was tired before I went and now I am exhausted and sore joints have left me feeling old. Time to book another swimming session

Finances are terrible to be honest. I spend lots of money when I visit my relative even before then, I had let things slip. I need to get a grip! Tomorrow I will have a finance session with myself...

I have now finished all the viewings and today I agreed to go ahead with one buyer. This buyer has a mortgage in place and upped his offer by another £5,000, so £30,000 over the asking price as long as we take it off the market this week. The offer is accepted and I will update the EA with solicitor’s details tomorrow. (Cue dancing girls)  I hope this goes through without issue, but if not there are several other potential buyers who offered at the asking price. 

It is sure to be a long and twisty road (is there a song with those lyrics?)but today I am allowing myself to feel optimistic and positive, as like the sunshine, positivity is free
