You've put so much effort into this , and it's all looking great .Just stand back now for the next viewings on sat, and then you'll have more of an idea where you stand , and you'll probably have to make important decisions as to which offer to accept etc .Really great newsSunshine_girl2 said:Threat to read your news DIA . I cancelled the plumber and the handyman.
I can manage without the jobs, but more importantly I thought the house would need these jobs done in order to sell and now I can see that isn’t true. For example it is pointless getting extra bookshelves. The packed books I wanted to put out can stay packed.
As @Debsnewbudget rightly said all monies should now be targeted towards the new home (whenever that happens…)
Yesterday I spent the day in the maybe-new-area. Many discoveries! Yes, there are lots of expensive shops but I also found a L1dl and Ald1. Yay! Also a brilliant chip shop (had some chips sitting on a bench). It is now official the area has everything I need. Haha.
I found out I can rent a 1 bed for £900 a month. I found storage facilities so it makes sense to move everything into storage in the area I will be in. Yesterday I looked at 2 houses to buy, but they were not right for me. Unless I find a house I can’t say no to I still plan to rent for 6 months.
My joints are still sore today despite swimming this week. Yesterday it was hard to get about as the area I was in is very hilly. I need to put the type of focus I gave to get the house on the market to sorting my health and diet. Off to throw away all the problematic food! Again!
I’m tired today so taking it easy. Later I will go for a walk get some fruit and veg and flowers, then I will begin the big cleanup ready for viewings tomorrow.
I hope you are all okay out there and enjoying the Autumn sunshine

Sounds like you had a great day DIA 😼
chips as well. Feeling hungry now 😾
Yes finding a good storage company is important . Not sure if you got that far in my first diary . The hassle I had was trying to find both a storage co, and removal firm for the right day was difficult . So many emails and phone calls . I used big yellow who although not the cheapest , were great .As I said before , you are doing so much and you will be out of sorts . I think the term is probably ' above and beyond ' . Something like that 😸
Have a great weekend 🦅🦅🌵🌵☀️7 -

Wow - its all coming together for you - I think renting is a good idea, but it can be a nightmare to get started and overlapping house purchase and sales and renting can be expensive. But a useful cut out, if you are trying to feel your way into an ideal location and not just moving within an area you know wellI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thanks @beanielou @jwil @mark55man, appreciated.
Thanks @another_casualty Funny you should mention your first diary. I am still reading. You have just arrived at the posh hotel, not yet in your rented accommodation. I plan straight into storage on arrival. I found a Pr3mi3r 1inn so can use that if necessary for a few nights. Then a rental, although I think 3 months will probably be long enough to get a feel. I have a friend I can stay with where I live now, so if I don't find somewhere within that time frame so I can keep looking from outside of the area. The only flaw to this plan is if I decide the area is not for me as all my belongings will be miles away! It will cost a fortune to move everything again. Still, much cheaper than buying the wrong house and needing to move again.
Viewers are here as I type. Edited to say 13 viewers. Just spoke to the EA and as we already have several offers from last week we will not have to do this again. Glad, as it is stressful. Can't wait for it to be over so I can chill. That said I realise I am very lucky to have so many people interested in my home.
