Depends which side of the wall DIA is on - in England they just wind up bidders by telling you somebody else has offered a tiny bit more and are you sure you can't stretch to another £2k? Backwards and forwards til somebody gives in.

It is nice to have good news to share. I don't want to get too excited as it really is early days, but if this prospective buyer falls away the next in line offered the asking price so hopefully (fingers crossed) I will end up with an offer from somewhere. As @Chrystal says it is a positive sign.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
