Today I made veggie soup and stock. As part of my eating plan I wanted to get to the stage where veggie soup is my default. Now my appetite has decreased enough I’m giving it a go. Supper is sausages, a green salad and roasted veggies. Total yum.
I have been frog eating all day. It started with yesterday when I sorted my phone out. I was lost without my phone but still allowed it to be a frog for weeks
I phoned to check where I was with my holiday booked for the Autumn. Glad it is sorted. I am going next year now instead and the price is frozen as it is a transfer. It gives me more time to pay the balance too.
I was forced to liquidate some PBs and wasn’t looking forward to that but now I am ok for another few months.
I found out how to scrap a car!
Cancelled a subscription
I contacted my DC pension provider and understand it much better. I then read up on my options. I understand what counts as income for HMRC purposes too. The time will come when I can use this...
I looked at how WTC works. It is very complicated, but I understand it better now. I have an application made so will wait to see if that is successful. Fingers crossed.
I can see where I am financially for the next few months and that helps with worry.
I had a craving today for half a bottle of champagne, some smoked salmon and some plump olives. I can but dream
Hope you are all having a good day.

Wow well done for eating so many 🐸 DIA. I've been claiming WTC for years and I shall never ever ever understand it! It will always be a complete mystery to me how they calculate it 🤔. I'm glad you have a better understanding of your financial situation as that always makes you feel better. Knowledge is power 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Yesterday I moved things. It is surprising how much small changes can make such a big difference. I swapped two paintings over. I am noticing them both anew now. I moved the TV from my bedroom to my living area. That’s better.
Today I went to Mr L to buy a fan. I actually want the Dys0n one but my finances say no. However, I the Mr. L one is powerful and I am pleased with it. Last year I was stuck indoors on hot days without a fan and I was very uncomfortable. This year I will be cool.
I got my exercise walking to and from Mr L and did some weightlifting getting the fan home!
I’ve done some housework, cooking and washing is out drying too.
I am watching an episode of vintage Columbo that I haven’t seen before.
Still to do: clean the hallway and kitchen floors and some gardening…perhaps…
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday

Sounds like a good day's work DIA
.
I agree about the importance of a fan in the summer. We have two tall floor-based fans and in the summer DH has one in the office as that can get very hot and we put the other one in the living room.
Moving things around can feel like you've got new furniture.

well done DIA - that sounds like a good day
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine6 -
You've been a productive, proactive, frog-eating person lately DIA. Well done
Love that moving a couple of pieces of artwork around gives you a new found appreciation for them. I am looking forward to enjoying the space that we live in a little more once our renovations are complete. I've spent too long not enjoying the space and 'waiting' to change/ fix it. I feel like we both have these feelings about our homes. Making the best of it!Sealed Pot Challenge 075
