Mrs_Boo_Boo said:Wow lots of progress DIA with a little 'blip' in between. We can't be upbeat and positive all the time. It's about acknowledging these times and taking our foot off the pedal and cutting ourselves some slack. Obviously if it is starting to go on a long time then we may need to seek help, but it's human nature. That's my take on it anyway and this is what I tell my clients. You are doing just fine and we are living in very strange times.
I am still lucky to have the structure of work, although we are working 8-4 or 8-12 covering 7 days a week. Went in at 8 the other day instead of 12!!! Oops. Not the only one as someone else came in on their day off and another thought they were 12-8 when they were 8-4.
Glad you are getting things done and managing to eat healthily and exercise. Major things to keep going. Would definitely recommend getting up early and exercising.Have been attempting to get up and go to bed at the same time every day. Bit of a struggle at first, but getting better. Feel there is a lot more time to get things done. Was always a morning person before the menopause hit and then hot flushes and insomnia started. Getting better now and am just recognising that I will feel tired whatever. Exercise keeps my mood high too.
Anyway need to get ready for work. Sun is out too and birds are singing.
Have a good day everyone
xxxThe highlighted words made me realise that actually, yes, I am doing just fine. Glad you are well, exercising (I must do more) and work is helping with structure. Sorry the menopause has disrupted your sleep but great you are putting that behind you. Keep enjoying the sunshine and birds

Focusing on the positives
An unexpected windfall of £120. The plan is to put £20 into a jar as a Sod It fund and the rest into the start of a buffer/savings fund in another account. I want to grow this to £500 ASAP to give me a tiny bit of security.
A lovely call with my niece.
A nice chat with another lovely person.
I created a Zoom account. I know. Go me. Ready for a Zoom chat with my tech(y) friend now
My CC statement came and for the first time in several months I did not spend into the future so the amount to collect next month is zero. A bad habit broken…
Searched and found an attachment for my Dys0n missing for months. So I hoovered the stairs and living area.
Turned an ugly, heavy dressing gown into cleaning rags.
A skirt out of my wardrobe and into the charity bag.
Repotted veggies
Have a relaxing evening everyone

Yes, there are wobbly days but I think @Mrs_Boo_Boo is right, you can't be positive all the time. These are strange times. Most of the time I am just fine and appreciating the opportunity to step back, take stock and get my life in order. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. The days are beginning to merge. All a bit groundhog. So, work (and setting a four hour minimum here). Gardening, cleaning, decluttering...
A little bit different from yesterday?
Veg box delivery
Watching NT at home Anthony and Cleopatra this afternoon as a treat for doing four hour's work
Two ten minute meditations and an after dark cycle
That's me for today, hopefully.
Have a good day everyone
