It will be great if you can get your bedroom sorted out DIA, will give you a fabulous sense of achievement that will last longer than a day.I 'sorted out' the wet room the other day... nearly blinded myself with the bleach fumes! OH has an online shopping addiction and the place was chocca block with 'stuff' (which rarely gets used) I was amazed how different it looked when I'd finished. (have you noticed how our eyes 'skim over' stuff and just don't seem to notice them and only realise what a mess it was when it's been cleared?)Hope you manage to also do some more in the garden. Another thing that I also need to do. I bought 15 'garden ready' plants from a TV shopping channel, which arrived about 4 days ago and they're still in the (open) box on the patio waiting to be planted! Seeing that I also bought compost from them I really have no excuse, apart from feeling so bl00dy awful that it seems to be too much to do... need to give myself a good kick up the backside!!Hoping that today we can both feel that sense of achievement.
(((hugs)))

I have always put music before everything else . Good idea about the audiobooks @jwil
i have a few months of amazon that I haven't used yet . I haven't joined a library as such ,but am a member of a job club which is in a library. You've got me thinking.😼
You're still doing lots DIA and you know the rest 😼..doingitanyway said:jwil said:Audio books are also a good solution if you haven't got the energy to read. You can borrow them for free from the library if you have online access.Tried to logon to library account and can't. When library is up and running I will get this sorted. Audio on loan from library is a great idea. Now I have the head set I can combine a book or music with doing household chores. Strangely, I am looking forward to it!

Hope you're okay Chrystal.
DIA - how lovely of your neighbour. One of my neighbours offered me some turnip plants. DS nipped to Mr As earlier - huge queue for my meds - but picked up some compost while there.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

You seem to have similar issues to myself on the tidying up side of things . I haven't got the dresses though.

@mark88man The bedroom took all day and a little bit of this morning. I seriously underestimated the work involved!
@Homegrown0 The neighbour does it every year and I kill them every year. This year they will live!!If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I had no idea the bedroom would suck up a whole day to get it clean! At one stage so much was out and the mess was so bad I wished I hadn't started. But it's done now and it should be much easier to keep it that way. I can sweep it through with a soft brush regularly as the floor is clear. I usually wheeze a bit when lying down but not last night and I put that down to lack of dust.
I have flowers in my bedroom. I will try and keep fresh flowers in my bedroom
I had a good chat with a friend yesterday. I must remember how important it is to remember to do this often.
Books decluttered and another dress that I have never worn.
I didn't do anything other than the bedroom yesterday so today I still need to do some work and gardening. The rest of the house is messy. My home organisation book came yesterday so started day 1. Today I should clean the fridge, organise under the sink and there are tasks outlined for the bedroom that I have already done, so should be easy enough. There is also a daily clean routine that I sort of do anyway but will do it according to the plan today.
Wishing you all a positive day

I second audio books - also great for when you haven't got your hands free but can listen to something. Mine are often on when I'm cooking or doing chores.

I'm still 'upright and breathing' DIA, which has got to be a plusThanks for asking.
Great that you got your bedroom sorted out. I must admit I have noticed a difference in breathing when mine has been deep cleaned - amazing how dust can get up your nose LOLDidn't get a great deal done in the garden, just a number of pots weeded and the top part of the compost removed so I can freshen them up and get some plants in, but didn't do any today. To be honest I'm shattered, had about 3 hours sleep Sat, and about the same Monday night, with an 8 hour sleep on Sun. Going to bed soon and hoping that tonight is better.Take care and keep on keeping on. (((hugs)))I Believe.....
