Thanks @another_casualty it is easy to be misunderstood on here but I am thankful that people care enough to reach out when they see someone having a bad day.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I felt edgy and a bit miserable yesterday. I couldn’t sleep until 2am as my brain kept churning things over. Today is a new day so I thought the best thing to do was to get active as soon as the day began…I was up and going before 7am
Household
Washing done and out drying
Food shop
Early morning cycle
Dishes X4!
Food
Stock
Lentil and veggie soup
Chicken and vegetable grill tray
Salad made
Fresh fruit salad and seeds prepped
I tried to eat a frog but the company was closed. Still feel pleased I tried. Will try again during the week.
I have a much smaller budget this month so that may be making me a bit edgy. My mantra is: ‘Everything that needs paying has been paid and you will be fine.’
The rest of the day I will be having a catchup with a friend, gardening, reading and later a bit of TV.
Wishing you all a good day.

Sorry to hear about your 'mehness' DIA. It has been a bit of virus in itself during the last week among forumites, including me.
You sound a lot more positive today and I can only echo @mark88man's post.👍 xFinally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Hope you're feeling a bit better today DIA. (((hugs)))Don't think the weather is helping much at the moment, it's gray and miserable up here in the North East, but supposed to improve later in the week... I'm hoping my mood improves with it! LOLI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy7 -
Thanks @mark88man
Thanks @Seasidegal58 Sorry to hear you have had an attack of the mehness too.
Thanks @Chrystal
Although I usually benefit from do nothing days, I am keeping busy instead to keep my mental health buoyant.
So, today I have already been gardening for an hour. I've stopped for an indoor hour of tea and being on here plus ironing. Then back out for gardening and then back in for dishes and cleaning the bathroom. Going to try the indoors/outdoors thing up until lunchtime. It is cloudy so hoping rain doesn't spoil this plan.
I say I will read every day but never do. Giving it another give this another go again this afternoon.

if reading is not quite what you fancy - try music - especially compilations on a theme you like but from someone else's playlist - that way you don't have to choose (except maybe to skip a selection you don't fancy). most of the major platforms like spotify both have "radio stations" or their playlists and do a web browser/phone version for free which is usable although has advertsI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Audio books are also a good solution if you haven't got the energy to read. You can borrow them for free from the library if you have online access."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
