Yesterday was lost due to a migraine. Well almost lost. I felt well enough to go out late afternoon so headed to the PO. It was closed so I cycled on to the shops. Sort of whoops in that I ended up cycling home really tired and with a few bits of shopping that were heavy as I found some chickpea flour and bought 2 kilos. I overdid it and was shattered. Today a bit better.
I've spent a few hours working and it isn't midday. Pleased with that.
Seeds and my cleaning book have still not arrived...
Its raining...
Making chickpea flour based pizza (mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, red onions and seeds) a really nice vegan treat. Used beetroot powder so they are a gorgeous pink!
The plan for this afternoon will be more work and steam-cleaning ground level floors. Adding tea tree (antiseptic) and some orange oil for the scent. A book to catch up on and I will go for a walk too.
I hope you are having a good day:)

You're still all go DIA 😼
Go easy when you need to , and treat the rain as a break as the garden can wait for couple of days . I'd say the migraine is a sign to take a break and relax . Only imho though 😼6 -
Thanks AC. You are right the garden can wait. I got distracted this afternoon so the floors being cleaned will also wait. Non stop rain stopped me from going out too.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

You you are still so busy everyday. Sorry to hear you weren't pleased with the veg box that you bought. I hope the second one is better. Don't you have any farm shops around you, our local one has some lovely produce . You could cycle to one if you have one near enough.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.7

I am glad you managed to get some vegan flour and do some cooking. A bike ride too - great exercise. It's difficult balancing listening to your body, exercise, mental health and practicalities. Sometimes you just have to go with it. I think with this month's budget - accept it - move on. That's what I'm doing having way over-spent on the garden.... Thanks @savingholmes. You are right and I will just accept this months budget and move on. I don't have a regular income right now so it does feel difficult. My EF is minuscule but you have reminded me to work on my EF as it will help me feel more secure. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Having a decent emergency fund - in my case a minimum of £1K - has made such a difference. One month we even bought a £750 car and taxed and insured it from that. It's not as good as a 3-6 month one but getting £500-1000 together really does help with all the silly things that go wrong. During lockdown our hob broke - but we bought a £75 induction double hob that plugs in instead for now (and prefer it) - we could do that without worrying. We had the opportunity to take a tree down that was blocking half the light in the garden - £350 - again it could be absorbed and wasn't a major worry. An EF is life changing and reduces stress.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
