Hi DIA - I googled local nurseries and bought some veg and strawberry plants alongside compost. They were £2 a pot or small strip for things like peppers, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower and strawberry plants. I used a Gardener's World code to get 12 tumbling tomato plants from another website for £12.99 for 12. I've been buying seeds from Am**** or fleabay. Hope that helps.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I once decluttered a book on decluttering - my DD had fits laughing that I even owned it as you couldn't tell from our house! Hope your book works better for you. Watching M K0nd0 helped me a little when it came to clothes and putting similar things together. Still loads left to do. Some B n Qs are opening.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

DIA you have it all going on, cleaning, gardening, working, decluttering . You are obviously in a good place, long may it last.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.6

Thanks SSG2. It didn't last! It is very much ups and downs and yesterday was a down. I received a high energy bill and started worrying about finances generally. Then I worried about the virus and felt anxious all day. I did nothing until 5ish and then remembering what you said about 5pm and no queuing in the shops I cycled to the shops. I ended up with the milk, fruit and veggies I needed but also bought chocolate (75% off Easter eggs and an Easter cake) I had some of the sweet things with a glass of wine (after over a week being AF. ) A low day yesterday, but today is a new day. I slept well so no reason not to have a good day today.Sunshine_girl2 said:DIA you have it all going on, cleaning, gardening, working, decluttering . One of the things I've realised is I am used to shopping in supermarkets every few days. Trying hard to stop this. It' an anti-MSE habit I need to break. The virus is now an issue so I need to minimise and get into a routine. So, no food shopping until at least Wednesday!
I didn't do any work yesterday so that will be my focus today.
Have a good day everyone.

Good bargain on the chocolate DIA . 😼 yes I know..
I would say the wine gave you a good nights sleep . Don't know about the rest of your bills, but with energy bills, you could always reduce payments / direct debits etc . If you don't want to talk to anyone but are considering it, there is the chat function on their apps .
Sorry to hear you felt run down yesterday , but you didn't seem to be on your posts.
I don't think that you should go all out to do stuff today that wasn't done yesterday . It'll get done . Everything is progressing really well anyway. As I'm typing this , I have to turn off telly now . Virtual signalling everywhere I look is peeing me off .💦. How these begging machines expect us to give what we haven't got is unbelievable and stupid .
Hope the days better 🌝6 -
Thanks AC. Probably best just to pay the bill and move on. It is fine, just a big one. But then I am in all the time and it covered winter.
I didn't post my day yesterday, just responded to others. I don't always find it helpful to post about myself when in a negative frame of mind, but I'm feeling much better today.
Yes, taking it at my own pace and will even have a bit of Easter egg with a cup of tea later:)
