I will do it from my laptop to my friend who lives abroad who will use her phone...or she could receive the call on her laptop if one is free and the other is not?On a phone , I think it comes down to the tariff that you have signed up to . Also you could possibly change tariff if you think it may help . One other thing, FaceTime eats batteries .
I hope this helps ..5 -
You could always viber video call - if you are both on wifi that would be free. Skype can be free tooAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks @another_casualty and @savingholmes.
My veggie box delivery arrives and when it arrives I am using up the last of my YS freezer goodies to make a lamb curry. That should last me a good few days.
Today I plan:
Five hours of creative work
One hour of gardening
Cleaning the bathroom window
Cleaning the kitchen window
Steam cleaning hallway/ living areas floor/ kitchen floor
Menu planning based on veggies from veggie box
I'm expecting the delivery of my seeds and my cleaning and organising book
I learn so much from these diaries as talk of Barbara Currie and her gentle approach led me to look her up. She is on youtube so I will be be adding 10 minutes yoga morning and night to my daily routine.
I might do a cycle later too but no biggie if I don't as long as I do the gardening and yoga.
Go seize the day MSE people

You're seizing the days very well DIA 😼
Just remember that you have to have a break now and again , so you can do it all without doing too much

Thanks @another_casualty
Well the veg box just arrived. Disappointing, with yellowing Spring greens. I'll keep the order in the interests of cutting down my exposure to C19. Hopefully my seeds (when they come) will yield fresher, cheaper veggies

Looking forward to seeing future tales of growing veg across MSE. I have planted seeds but today also bought some mini plants - cucumber, cauliflower, broccoli, peppers and strawberry plants. Hopefully my seeds will germinate but these will be a little ahead allowing earlier harvesting.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks @savingholmes May I ask where you got your mini plants from? I'd quite like to go this route as well as the seeds. As a novice grower I need results to spur me on!If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I used to do eyebrows, nails, feet and make-up for people in my family and friendship group. Now is the time to resurrect these skills and use them on myself. Today will be face pack, scrub, steam and cleanse with a nourishing face oil
As AC noticed yesterday (but was too lovely to say outright) my list of things to do was too much and probably not achievable. So, carrying on with that list until it is complete.
Recycling out on time
Washing clothes X2
So, I will do some work today, but it’s going to be a warm day, so a bit of gardening.
I need shopping AGAIN. It is fruit, milk and salad veggies. The delivered veg box was not salad stuff. I only went into the shops the other day so clearly not shopping correctly. I should only need to shop every 7-10 days. So, will do a meal plan. I don’t want to keep risking getting the virus by being in shops when I don’t need to be. Also supermarkets are stressful as not everyone complies with social distancing...
When will my seeds come???
Off to do my 10 minutes of yoga.
Have a good day everyone
