Morning DIA! Hope you're well in advance of the weekend?
Sorry to hear that the migrane took you out for a while, but glad you're back in your stride.
Interesting discussions about EFs. We have some savings, but not a specific emergency fund. Our savings are earmarked for our renovations which will be commencing probably in the summer now that COVID-19 has put a halt to the construction industry for a while. However, it just got me thinking. Maybe we should distinguish between savings? Have a distinct EF and then other savings on top? Of course if we had an emergency, we'd just dip into our savings pot, but it does make me wonder whether there's any benefit in attributing funds for certain purposes.Sealed Pot Challenge 075

There is another blogger (maybe Frugalwood's wife) who doesn't believe in EFs at all or budgets. She says spend only what you need and save EVERYTHING else. Maybe that works when you are very clear about wants and needs. I can't be trusted! I like the idea of distinguishing between savings. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I haven’t achieved very much today, so a bit disappointed
It is damp and gloomy where I am today
I seem to be throwing away things all the time. Today it was a wok (too thin so smokes the house out when used) a broken glass, spray oil (too many processed ingredients in it)
No exercise at all and feeling a bit meh today. Looking at the diaries it isn’t just me.
To end on a positive note: some very pretty flowers purchased at Mr M 10 days ago when they were already reduced are still looking lovely.
New veg box arrives tonight…
It looks like dry, sunny weather tomorrow so I can get out in the garden and tackle the weeds
Will do better tomorrow
Hope everyone is doing okay.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
