Love that moving a couple of pieces of artwork around gives you a new found appreciation for them. I am looking forward to enjoying the space that we live in a little more once our renovations are complete. I've spent too long not enjoying the space and 'waiting' to change/ fix it. I feel like we both have these feelings about our homes. Making the best of it!
Yes, I agree let's make the best of what we have!If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I slept in until 8 when I used to get up at 6. Not sure whether to accept it or start setting an alarm?
Life is returning to my part of the world and I woke to the sound of drilling. Cars are going by more frequently.
I haven’t given up on the bathroom. Not only to increase saleability but for me to enjoy because who knows what the housing market will be and when I will be able to move in reality? All I can do is keep on sorting the house and be ready whenever. My bathroom plan is:
--Find the finance that least negatively impacts me
--Start stalking bathroom outlet store (when it opens)
--Buy bathroom bit by bit and store in outbuilding
--Declutter/Clean outbuilding ready to store bargain bathroom
--Find a bathroom fitter
This week I will declutter and clean out the outbuilding to use for storage. This is a BIG FROG as I HATE spiders.
Today is warm, too warm for gardening (any excuse…)
I will be going to the hardware store for a part and to W1lk0 for a hose. Then I need chocolate (essential) and milk.
Plenty to get on with including my actual job so off to make a start
Have a good day everyone

Sounds like a plan DIAI don't envy you clearing the shed (spiders!) One of the main reasons I haven't started to tackle my upstairs room of doom is because I've a real phobia about insects - even butterflys
so you can imagine what I'm like with spiders and moths!!! (((hugs)))

Good luck with your shed 🐸 DIA. I'm lucky because I don't mind spiders. I'm petrified of snakes 😱 but luckily you don't across them so often.
I agree about making the house nice for yourself, because although people are allowed to buy and sell houses now there's no guarantee that there will be a rush to do so and a recession will affect house prices. You deserve to live in a lovely house 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

All looking good still DIA 😼
Have you got a lock on your outbuilding ? Best be on the safe side if putting anything in there .Good luck with the spiders 🕸🕷. Hope the squirrels haven't been in there 🐿
I hope you get the right person for the bathroom . I arranged for three people to visit, and that's how I found james .It's funny regarding pictures . I have a canvas which although I like , was placed in my small bedroom . After deciding to have a re fig in this lockdown , it's now in the hallway and should've been there all along . I put my bass guitars on the wall when I moved in, but realised that the canvas looks much better and that I was getting bad habits from my old flat and a change was what was needed and they are not on the wall anymore .I'll leave it there 😸...5 -
Jus caught up with your diary whilst on my coffee break DIA. Wow! You've got through loads whilst I've been off the boards the last couple of weeks. How are you finding the cleaning book? You sound like you've been making inroads (better than I've been doing lately☹️).One tip I read a while ago when decluttering a room is to take a picture of the room on your phone. It's funny - when you look at the photo, whatever you need to declutter seems to jump out at you more than just staring at it.Have a good day! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
