I'm slowly, slowly, getting my mojo back.
I walked about 1.5 miles. I want to keep moving so I don't seize up. My muscles are sore so I didn't enjoy it to be honest but there was some sunshine so I benefitted from getting out.
I did some finance shuffling. I can get through March ok.
Is the house a mess? Is the Pope Catholic? But its been worse and before I didn't care and now I do so that is progress of a sort. Dishes are mostly done and I'm eating healthy food. That will have to do.
I was going to buy a new front door but instead I am going to 'pimp' the existing one and give it a good clean. I need a door number, a metal box to collect the post and a new lock, a new door handle, a new lock (and a locksmith to fit it) and a bell. Sounds like a lot? Yes, but still cheaper than buying and paying to fit new door. I can use the savings there to go towards more essential house items/repairs/renovations.
Off to do a bit of cleaning and maybe iron a few things too.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

That made me smile and 'pimping the door'. When are you heading up to Bonnie Scotland?" Before I didn't care and now I do so that is progress of a sort".

Woke feeling heady and not quite right, so an at home, NSD calls I think…
I have lots of soup and bits and pieces in the fridge so no need to cook today.
Called three tradespeople for quotes for new front door lock. Seems quite expensive but even if I get a new front door I will have to pay for locks. I like the sound of one organisation who will call me back when in office, as he was out at the time.
Spoke to gardener and agreed a date for them to come at the end of the month (weather permitting)
Keep getting letters from surveyors telling me neighbours are planning works and do I want to appoint them at neighbours expense. Irritating as it reminds me the neighbours did the excavation work BEFORE applying for planning permission. Nothing I can do now.
Waiting in for a parcel. Just advised it will come this afternoon. Boots that are reduced by 66%. Will be a bargain, although I haven’t bought this brand before so not sure about sizing.
Bed stripped and washed bedding and out airing.
I plan to get the room I work and live in cleaned and organised today too.
Wishing you all a good day.

I like the sound of the new pair of boots at 66% off, an investment in your capsule wardrobe?

Not quite capsule, but I have always bought at the top end in the sales. I'm always a 'season' out as a result but I'm not into 'fashion' in that way. The boots did fit and really lovelyI like the sound of the new pair of boots at 66% off, an investment in your capsule wardrobe?

Yesterday was my last hospital appointment until the autumn. I am seeing a dietician again in April but that doesn’t count as it isn’t invasive or stressful. I feel relieved to have a break from hospitals! I’m a bit queasy and light sensitive this morning. I’m expecting it to wear off as the day progresses
Today I will be making yet more soup. I have a pumpkin that has been sitting on my counter for months. It looks okay so I will use it. Up early to start the stock. I have some organic chicken carcasses so I am expecting good, nutritious soup

Washing Machine buzzing in the background
Despite contacting 3 locksmiths nothing came of it so I will be chasing the best of the bunch today. I used to see this sort of thing as a fail but I’ve come to see it is a process so back to it today
I have an official letter to write and post so I will do that today.
I am at the training college this afternoon. Just £8 for a manicure!
I hope you all have a good day
