Thanks everyone for all the positive messages.
And yes, I did have a good time. It was creative, stimulating and I hope I can keep up the good feelings now I am back in this crazy virus stricken reality! Sadly it was cut short due to the virus.
I was sent home on the overnight sleeper at a cost of £200. Wonderful, but I felt guilty about the cost to the organisation but train in late (over an hour) so they get all the money back! I also have a week with them at no cost when this saga is over! Double win.
All my cultural trips with friends cancelled as venues have closed. Social life cancelled!
Dentist cancelled
Beauty college cancelled
Swimming pool closed
When my new budget starts next week it will be time to get my bike fixed. Good for social distancing, avoiding public transport, and a way to get some exercise. Save a few pounds on fares.
Got some groceries in Ald1 as didn’t expect to be home yet and nothing in. Online order expected next week!
Came home and I could see was clutter and mess. I’ve worked hard all day: hoovering, dining table cleared, plants watered. Also, now I will have to decorate the small room as public places are closed so WFH creatively is the only option!
Two boxes of ‘stuff’ emptied. Some beautiful 1950s coffee cups and saucers discovered that I meant to sell at a boot sale once. Now going to be used by me. Ones I was using are less beautiful and went in the cs bag.
Dining table extension removed and now a third smaller and more space in the room. (taken me years to think of it!)
Bureau cleaned and tv moved back downstairs from the bedroom.
I couldn’t get any chicken or eggs, so yoghurt for breakfast for now and defrosting the last of the Christmas turkey.
Stay safe everyone.

I'm sure I'll be okay for food.
I can't put the bike in until next week as I am without funds, but I think it will be a good investment (money and health) to get it done.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy5
