welcome back DIA
I agree with comments about the site, but if you step down to basics - just typing into the comment box and heading to your bookmarks page (instead of subscriptions) then it will feel more the same. I haven't worked out quoting yet - which I know you liked to do so that will be annoying as you will learn how to do it, but that's mental effort which should be jealously guarded. I do like that you can now just click on the diary title and get straight to the new posts from the oldest unread one. They have taken thanks away from some categories of discussion, which I did use but couldn't really see the point off in a chat about politics, where thanks had come to mean thanks for thinking the same as me, not thanks for saying something useful
I hope your plans get together. I'm still trying to get on top of 2020 and I think ther is a lot of it aboutI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Sorry to hear of your health issues DIA. Hope things are resolved soon.Another who misses the old format. I felt 'at home' there. ☹️I think you're right to leave house things as they are until your pesky neighbours finish whatever they are doing. All you need is for people to view your home and then the neighbours start banging and crashing!☹️Not long now till Scotland though and then you can take a breather. 😀Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

another_casualty said:Sorry to hear about the health side of things DIA . Hopefully , it's something you can conquer with all the other stuff that's going on .You are doing great treading on eggshells with your neighbour situation . Hopefully they can get their stuff out of the way sooner rather than later , so that you could hopefully list your home on the summer . When your mind is settled eventually , you can focus again on the exterior / squirrels etc and other big jobs and you can pick up at the pace you were a couple of weeks ago and tackle the frogs 🐸
The things you say about the new look mse are exactly the way I see it . The annoying thing is the thanks button .
Anyway, I'll leave it there
Have a good weekend ( what's left of it )😼Hi DIA
I miss the thanks button and the easy glance at who everyone is. Hopefully as people re-upload an image to their profile it will become easier again. I hope your health issues resolve quickly. Good to see you back posting. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
