Well done on eating a frog, it's another thing off your to do list!
Please try and find some rest and you time. Your life is very full on and running on empty isn't a good mix.
Keep looking for properties as the right one will appear.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Thanks @another_casualty you are right about the fruity ones but I had viruses on my backup so did not want to ask transferring it to my new machine. It has picked up and got rid of viruses so a good buy I think. It was under £20 and I can use on 5 devices.
Thanks @[Deleted User] just looked up the soup recipe. Nice and I will be making it. I have forced myself to only check RM twice a day (there is nothing right now!) as it was making me anxious. I've now made it clear I am not available to anyone on Saturdays as it is my house visit day...
Oh and a frog is a task you don't want to do and keep putting off!
Thanks @MovingForwards. I am definitely pacing myself since my break away. I have set up boundaries during the week. I turn my phone off sometimes now. I am taking time out to pursue my own priorities. It won't become less full on because of the situation but I am looking after myself so much better.
Today I am visiting a friend and going to the storage unit. The little one has a birthday so I will see if I can nab a reduced price cake in MnS. Will be good to catch up with my friend and relax for a bit.
A work email sent today FROG
When I was away there was an orchard so got used to picking my own breakfast (plums, apples, damsons, pears) the fruit did me good so going to try and recreate the 3 pieces of fruit a day at breakfast rule.
Off to make a sandwich to take out with me.

Have a look see if there's a community garden nearby. That way you get fresh air and some nice plants and trees to look at. Mine sells the fruit at the local café, I'm not sure if the volunteers get a bit of all the produce or whether everything else goes somewhere too.
I doubt there will be a fruit farm within walking / cycling distance, but again worth a look.

Thanks @savingholmes and @MovingForwards
I'm not living in a orchard/farm type environment I'm afraid. I wish I was. However, I might look at working at a community garden if I can find one to work in nearby.
I saw a friend on Tuesday and that was good. The little one had her birthday in the evening and had a lovely time which was good to see.
Yesterday I did some life admin but overall not a great day as I slept so poorly. I made some lovely pumpkin soup. Thanks @[Deleted User] I bought a bottle of really lovely wine and some YS tapas treats at MnS (£15 in total incl the wine) @another_casualty the crisp attacks have been replaced by blue corn chips. Have you tried them?
I forced myself up very early as I had to take the little one to school. I was still tired so I took a train to pick her up. I stopped off for carrots, teabags and water. I was over hungry so I had the bacon from a bacon roll and some coffee. Bus home as still tired. Just added up my spends and it is £10.75!!! Arggh. Taking her tomorrow so I need to pack a sandwich, coffee and get up in time to walk through the park.
I will work for the rest of the day as I need to send something out to an outside agency. I haven't sorted all my computer issues out but I should still be able to get stuff sent.
No suitable houses to view. Nearly viewed one but let it go as it isn't 100% in the area I wanted. No point in over compromising at this stage of the game
Still need to raise the money I'm owed so I can pay it off my debt. I wish I found the sort of thing easier. The plan is to raise it tomorrow when I next see the person...
Off to make a cup of tea and get going with work.

I just googled blue corn chips.. too spicy for me unfortunately 🤮
That's just me though as I'm a plain and simple guy , in many ways .Regarding computer issues 💻, there is an application that is not expensive in the scheme of things called " clean my Mac " . It may be useful , it may not be .You are still doing a good job keeping on top of things ..6 -
I didn't think there would be, but it's amazing what can be hidden away. Maybe pull up G-earth and see what is within a few miles of your home, it's how I've discovered a lot of things, plus direct net searches.
Can you make your lunch the day before, have long shelf life items at home or freeze things and it's grab and go.
@another_casualty I buy the cheap tortilla crisps from T, there's bound to be an online recipe for making something similar. Also you can do veg chips (crisps) in the oven. It's easy to make a healthy dip too.

Thanks @another_casualty
Not sure what tortillas you looked at but the MnS ones have no spice. Ingredients are blue maize, sunflower oil and salt. That's it. So give them a go and let me know your thoughts...
Thanks @MovingForwards lunch prepped last night was taken with me today. Result
Not doing too badly:
--Work sent to outside agency and deadline me early (yesterday)
--On time to cover for the school run
--Work done today
--Plucked up the courage to raise the money I am owed (HUGE FROG) and I am a few hundred pounds better off (will use that for ongoing cash) The remainder will be paid on Monday and I will pay off the CC debt
I saw a trustee role that I will be applying for. It is in an area I am passionate about. It pays too, although it is the sort of thing I would do on a voluntary basis anyway. That will be my next weeks task...
MSE is my YS food. I have a bag of mixed veg from MnS that is being converted into soup as I type.
MSE is doing all my chores by bus in one day thereby capping the cost
I have a day without caring duties tomorrow. I will do laundry, bulk cooking and cleaning but will also meet a friend for a coffee and I might go crazy and treat myself to a newspaper and some chocolate.
happy weekend everyone
Edited to say bought 3 beautiful plants from the hospice for under £10. I am imagining them on the window ledge of my next home. How sad is that?

Don't sweat the bacon roll - these are sometimes very needed!!! Sorry there's no houses but good for you for sticking to your guns on location - I do think that it can sometimes be tempting in our situations to try and get somewhere, but then all of the disruption will not have been worth it! Glad the soup was nice7

I wouldn't normally suggest this due to cost, but long life rice, custard and fruit pots are good for lunch box snacks. I'm pleased your pre-prepared lunch worked, keep that in mind for next time and it will become part of your routine.
Good lunch with the application and well done for tackling the big frog.
DIA, if you don't imagine how your new home will look, you'll never find it. Don't feel bad, daft or think it's sad, we've all purchased things in readiness for when we buy; I kitted my last rental out with furniture and accessories knowing they would be what I take to my home 😊Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5
