Thanks @MovingForwards. My new routine will get there but not stressing about it just yet...
Thanks @savingholmes. Totally agree with becoming stricter about being overgenerous.
Thanks @[Deleted User] for reading the whole diary! I've been scared to look back on the last horrendous year. You have the addition of DC and I don't know if I would have managed 'so well' if I had little ones to take responsibility for too. It is awful not to be comfortable and secure in a settled home, but we will get there
Today I haven't really achieved very much at all. I caught up on diaries and also had an afternoon nap! I met my nephew and got the key to his lovely penthouse. The plan is to spend a few days there next week working.
I made soup using a chicken carcass.
I bought kitchen roll (2.60) and a 50% FR chicken breast thingy (2.50) I seem to be buying random YS items and freezing them...
I walked to the park.
That is about it.
I am prepping for tomorrow to be an out of the house work day.
I hope everyone is doing ok.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Sometimes there's no benefit to covering old ground, it's gone and you've moved on from then.
Penthouse sounds very posh and will make working easier. Change of scenery and pace is great for inner relaxation.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -

Thank you @savingholmes, @MovingForwards and @jwil It feels very much like getting used to a new routine again...
The weekend was very full on as expected, as I was caring. No time to myself and broken sleep. But I did take a washing load with me and got that done so I have saved from a trip to the laundry this week. A saving of time and money. I also got a long catchup with a friend in whilst my relative slept in the afternoon.
Today I was due to go see a friend but I changed it to tomorrow as I barely slept on Sunday I needed a quiet day today.
I went for a walk first thing to buy fruits and veg and bread (still not feeling like chocolate...shock, horror...) The walk was on a high road. I live on a high road. Too much pollution...
Home for frog eating...
I am thankful to a friend for giving me an old fruity pro book. It is a bit battered but works well. The idea was to set it up, then buy antivirus software and load it so I can read my time machine hard drive info (that may have viruses) I've done that this morning. I can't view what I need to so this afternoon I will watch a few tubey videos to work out what to do next as I couldn't see the file I wanted to.
I've got a slow cooked chicken and a butternut squash happening in the background.
A soup of chicken, courgette and a few lentils will follow!
My vegbox came and the bagged salad was slimy. It was also £15 for a box of cheap veggies, so not good value. We are not talking organic either, so really poor value....I could complain but to be frank I don't have the energy so I've cancelled it.
A little house in the first area I liked came up last week. Six calls later and I had a call back today to say she has changed her mind and taken it off the market. Oh well...I asked to be notified if she changes her mind again!
The sun is shining and an early walk (pollution or no pollution) has left me feeling very can-do.
Hoping everyone is ok

You're still doing well DIA 😼
The only thing I would say, is that I don't think you need antivirus software for your 🍏apple laptop 💻. If it was windows maybe , but not Mac . Only imho of course ..6 -
What is a FROG?
There's a great (my husband made it recently) river cottage recipe for squash and peanut butter soup - makes it very satay. My husband made 2 versions - 1 with and 1 without the peanut butter and it was lush. Very few other ingredients so cheap as chips.
Keep going on the house - good that you asked to be notified if she changed her mind as probably not many (or any) others asked6
