Thanks everyone. Who knew so many people disliked aubergines. I thought it was just me
Thanks @Sunshine_girl2 and @RosaBernicia I'm with you on the ever ready toiletry bag. It saves so much time.
Thanks @Seasidegal58 two bags is upping the standard a bit far for me! one will have to do, but well done you
Thanks @savingholmesand @beanielou I was due another payment last night that did not come through so will have to try again for the rest...
Thanks @another_casualty you are right about Spring but hoping for something before then so I'm not paying out again for storage. Fingers crossed
Today, up early-ish. Got to relative 9ish. Did not spend on fares and resisted coffee. (saving £6.20)
Bought £1.50 veg box at L1Dl. Loads of tomatoes(2-3 kilos) so I can make a tomato soup. Also, 3 avocados, 8 potatoes, 4 onions, 2 plums, 4 bananas, 3 plums, 3 sweet potatoes, 11 satsumas, 1 yellow pepper and a handful of green beans. I threw out an iceberg and some carrots as they were dodgy but all the rest is fine
I did so well today MSE wise, that I treated myself to smoked fish and baked beans with kale for breakfast. Yum.
In other news I've been trying to get through to my CU for days to make a transfer so I can pay some more off my CC. I decided to close the account. I no longer live in the area anyway. There isn't much in the account but that should go someway to clearing the card.
I did not get back all the money owed last night as promised. There is still £100 outstanding. I am very annoyed that I will have to ask for it again! I am determined to pay off the CC by the deadline next week.
Thinking about my debt and why I am in this situation. It is because I don't have any buffer savings, so I intend to work on this. It is MSE elementary class: ALWAYS HAVE AN EMERGENCY FUND. However, I used the card to pay for storage in advance and that gave me peace of mind (and a good deal) so I don't regret it.
Yesterday my library, pool, healthy eating, walk did not go as planned. It ended up being a depressing day for various reasons, but today is another day (to misquote Gone with the Wind) So will try and achieve yesterday's things today instead

Oh, forgot to say! Very MSE was finding a sash window top and bottom in the street. it looked so beautiful with the brass fittings and the wood was good too. Anyway, I lugged it into the house. Not quite sure why yet, but it struck me as rather lovely...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Bit late to the aubergine party but the only way I eat them is in a moussaka while sat in the med. Aside from that they stay in the shop!
The veg box is good, even if there's a couple of unusable items.
Keep carrying forward the missed tasks, try and clear one off a week to catch up especially if it's a pleasurable one like the pool.

Love the idea of picking up a sash window and bringing it home. Hope you find a long term home to go with it.
Another vote for an EF. I have one again right now and feel so much more at peace even if it's a 'baby' EF it's a start.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I agree with the one task a week whilst things are difficult.savingholmes said:Love the idea of picking up a sash window and bringing it home. Hope you find a long term home to go with it.

I couldn't agree more about the EF. Should be rid of the CC debt soon so I can start.
TODAY I have been for a long walk, decluttered some shoes to the CS. Binned 2 bags of clutter. I also went to collect the rest of my money. It was stressful and time consuming but I have it all except £10. I am letting the £10 go. The important thing is I will be able to clear the credit card on Friday.
I picked up some shopping. I made some more stock so will make more soup tomorrow.
I arranged a call to my friend, so I can share some of my concerns. I miss the counsellor...
I've seen a house possibility. I will explore it this afternoon.
I want to do some more work today for a few hours but feeling very unsettled. Off to phone the EA.
Hope everyone is okay

Thanks @MovingForwards, @savingholmes and @Seasidegal58
I will definitely need a garden in the new place for my upcycle project!
I called the EA and I'm waiting to hear back. It will be nice to visit the area again as I haven't been there for a few months. The house is a little further out from the station, 0.7 miles, so still walkable.
Today my focus is work. I'm going to try and work from home most of the day and then take a walk through the park to visit my relative.
I do have a few frogs but will have a frog eating session tomorrow morning.
MSE wise I am taking hm soup and a sandwich with me.
Wishing everyone a good day.
