Well I have been back a few days. How was it? Amazing. I got tons of work done. I was fed and nurtured. I made new friends. I walked in a forest every day. I remembered why I do the creative thing I do. I also remembered I was good at it and that is how I got to be there in the first place. I really think I owe it to myself to complete my project so I can share its success with my relative. The race is on.
I came back deciding to set firm boundaries but already I have been roped into a whole weekend of caring by myself and tomorrow I am doing the school run. I have said I am doing working hours so I am only available in an emergency M-F daytime. I can help evenings and Sundays. Saturdays are reserved for socialising or house hunting. I will try again to keep to this until we all understand it.
Good stuff...
found out I can work in the library
joined the library
relative ok whilst I was away
not burgled in my absence
well, no flareups or migraines
signed up for a medical trial so I can receive a thorough medical check
vegbox ordered fortnightly (to support healthier eating)
no chocolate whilst away and not craving it anymore (it won't last)
MSE +
walking one way and saving a bus fare
packing food box every time I leave the house so no food outside
making meals from stores
MSE -
spending too much on food items

Overall I am feeling motivated and solution focused.
Long may it continue!
I hope everyone has been ok
