Very sorry to read of the burglary and everything else going on. Please be kind to yourself. Hope the retreat will allow a bit of time to reset and rest too. Take care.7

Thank you @Sunshine_girl2 too true. On hell of a year sums it up!
Thanks @mark55man the heat has definitely left the market. Hopefully bed behaviour left with it.

Your kind words are a help...
So today I replaced the fruit machine. I considered not doing so but I can't function properly without it so hey ho I just had to pay...I'm hoping I can replace the cost somehow? Not sure how yet.
I made soup. I always make soup when life is impossible.
Tomorrow I care for the relative then pick up a usb. Of course the fruit people have created a new more expensive usb that is exclusive to fitting their machine...grrhh
Very tired so having an early night but will be checking in here until I go to keep me on track.
I am describing the time away as a retreat but I'm also going to work, that is the point. I suppose it will feel like a retreat. Anyway a few days to go and lots to do. I'm frantically washing my hands as I have to turn in a clear covid test to be admitted and I'm aware luck isn't exactly on my side at the moment.
It feels distinctly autumnal here...
Hope everyone is ok

Replace the cost over several months, it's easier to find £1 or £2 each month, than £50 in a lump-sum.

Thanks @enthusiasticsaver I will indeed be recharging
Thanks @MovingForwards I've spent so much on fruit based computer that it will take more than 1 or 2 pounds a month to make up the shortfall but there is time to be frugal when I'm back...
So, where am I?
Well I am posting for the last time until I am back in October.
Today I paid for another 6 months redirection. It feels good to have both storage and redirection paid for until the Spring
This afternoon I still need to find the USB so I will pop out, only locally and will pick up some snacks for the trip too.
I have no reason to spend for the next month so what I would have spent can go to the CC!!
I soaked up all the passive aggressive barbs yesterday, not nice but I understand it and I am still standing. Family want me nearby to help but I am not Mary Poppins and I need to get away for a bit and then rethink my role in this situation. Hopefully a home will materialise and I can get some distance...
I did a lateral flow test and I am clear.
I won't have time to take my bike to the storage unit so I will have to hope I am not burgled. There are new locks so it should be ok but I can't live in fear so will have to let that one go. I had a migraine a few days a go so need to stop pushing myself. My last posting said I was very tired and that is a pre migraine thing I should have picked up on, but I was pushing too hard...never mind...
So that is it for me. I hope everyone stays well and I'll be back posting next month x

Make the most of the retreat, work out plans in your free time and remember you can't change anything, therefore worry about it on your way home.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.6
