Oh how frustrating, things always sent to try us. I would use a lot of swear words if that was me, but then I can be uncouth
lol
Hope your weekend gets better, amazing result that you got the work in given that you had no desk etc.
Thinking of you and sending you good vibeshopefully tomorrow is a sunny day.

So sorry to hear about the tradesmen DIA after waiting for them so long - you must have been seething!🤬
re launderette chat - there is one near me - I don't use it but it's good to know that it's there if the washing machine breaks down. My friend has a tiny kitchen and decided to forego a washer and use the launderette - she's very happy with it.Ironing boards make quite handy desks in an emergency for working with a laptop. It's quite useful because you can adjust it to the height you like. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks @Seasidegal58, I'm using my laptop on the ironing board. Thank you and gold star to you for the suggestion
Thanks @jwil, and yes it is rude!!!
Thanks @moneyonmymindsam for your commiserations and lovely positive vibes
Today I have eaten both crisps and chips, like double-denim but with carbs, never a good thing in either case. Ah well.
I went to the favoured area. I saw 2 houses, both are perfectly ok but the area wasn't ideal. The time wasn't wasted as now I know not to look at roads near there. I looked at another house where I wasn't sure as it was quite built up. I realised it backs on to a pub so I won't be viewing it. The search continues...
I purchased a change purse for too much money from a lovely independent shop. Hmmm....massive MSE fail...(although I do like it I have to confess)
Bought 2 beautiful Meakin cups and saucers (£2 each) the saucers are like watercolour paintings so pretty!! Yay for charity shops being open again.
So a bath and an early night for me as I did tons of walking and I am tired!
Hope you all had lots of sunshine too

You had a day out and change of scenery, got to rule out places which is a good thing and helps focus on what you do want.
Purse and crockery sound great, it's nice being able to buy the little touches.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.6
