Yesterday I had 2 viewings. I did lots of walking in the sun! One was at the top of a big hill so that was a no no. The other was beautiful but the garden was just a series of over 20 steps. I got lost on the way back from one viewing and discovered a few lovely roads so if they come up I will be very interested. I was in the second preferred area and now I getting to know it, it is growing on me. I will keep my eyes on both areas...
I packed some brunch/coffee/water but as I came home at 8pm I still picked up crisps! Can you believe it??? Analysing it further, I like salt and crunchy so I remade my seed crackers and made them thinner with more salt. They taste great so hopefully they will take the place of the addictive K crisps...
Last night I had a call to tell me my relative was back in theatre...another op! We found out this morning she came through. She is in ICU so no access. It is a scary time for us all but at least she is still with us.
A free day today so I will try and get ahead on my project work. I have a new deadline of May 3rd so will need to manage my time carefully. I also plan to buy a paper and sit outside a cafe somewhere as I did not get to do that yesterday.
Wishing you all a lovely sunny day.

It's a good idea to widen your search area for house hunting. At least you wouldn't get flooded if you lived on a hill and think of the exercise benefits 😂 . I hope you get some project work done. Sitting outside a cafe sounds lovely 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Sounds like all is well ,apart from that and the bike situation 🚴♀️. I wouldn't worry too much about the crisps tbh as you're conscious of them and once in a while isn't too bad . Depending on your favourite flavours things like kettle chips and hand cooked are supposedly better , but just have them as near as moderation as you can .Glad you're enjoying the Hse search ..7 -

Thanks @HairyHandofDartmoor
You are right living on top of a hill would be good exercise...but no!
Thanks @beanielou and @jwil
Thanks @another_casualty. It is impossible for me to eat K crisps in moderation and they are marketed as healthy but they have the same fat in them as all the others...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. So, another op for the relative since I last posted. Crazy. And stressful. Lots of hospital visiting and helping out with the family is leaving me tired Relative is asking for friends and family to visit. She never does that when in hospital. I think she is wanting to say goodbye as she feels she is dying
I have been eating just chocolate and crisps some days as too tired to cook/eat healthily. I gave myself a talking to tonight and ordered a fortnightly organic veg box. I never waste the veggies as they cost so much so in a way they are MSE if you follow my logic...
Picked up post and a neglected bill cost me an extra £30 for late payment. I didn't have the energy to challenge it, just thankful I could pay it in one go...
My CT refund wasn't processed as some info was missing (they say)...Will resend tomorrow
I have until Monday to meet my new work deadline, haven't started yet. I phoned all local libraries to see if they have a study space but no joy.
As per @beanielou I will keep plodding forward.
No new houses have come up...
Hope everyone is ok
