Great news that your bike can be repaired. I hope you feel a bit more settled soon x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5

Thanks @another_casualty I remember from your last diary you were worried prices would rise and you would be priced out. A fear I share! But like you I'm hoping it will all turn out ok in the end.
Thanks @savingholmes, good point about being away from the stressful neighbours. I do feel better for that. I decluttered all their extension documentation today. It is nice being in a home where I am not responsible for repairs too. No more looking for tradespeople
Thanks @jwil really pleased about the bike. I did not realise how dependent on it I was...
Today was a bit better than the past few days.
TADA list
A long walk.
Visit to relatives to take post. She unfortunately has a worrying numbness of her leg...:(
Cleared out some paperwork
Made a froggy call (couldn't get through to who I needed but at least I did it) Will try again tomorrow
Found the Royal Mail paperwork to chase my missing post. Will chase tomorrow.
Shopped for some healthy foods and some chocolate and some crisps!!
House news?
The maisonette with no garden has gone, so no more thinking about it.
A cottage is being considered...small garden plus a roof terrace in a great area but I wanted an ensuite in one of the rooms and a plumber friend is looking at the plans to see if it might be possible...
Ate crisps and chocolate. Will do better tomorrow and join AC in abstinence

Property sounds interesting DIA.
Hopefully it's nothing serious with relative. Maybe rest and a bit of movement will help.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -
You seem to be more relaxed and in control DIA 😼
Not sure if you can log in online about your redirection . Just a thought .It's quite bizarre regarding mine and your search for a new home ..
I had brexit confuse more or less everyone as it onky happened a couple of months before I accepted my offer . On the other hand, you have the Covid and stamp duty to contend with. One plus in your favour I would say, is that there should be more people moving at this time of year . I moved in a November .Purchased current flat end of March . You have time on your side now , so 🤞something appears at the right time .
Tbh, I'd say take the decisions lightly regarding the food . You have a far better diet than me anyway , plus why not have the odd day or 2 while you are recuperating from all you've been through. It won't take you long to get back on track once you find your new abode .
I left a response about caffeine withdrawal in my diary so I won't ramble much more except that I think you should stick with the coffee ☕️
I'll leave it there ..🍫6 -
Thanks @MovingForwards my relative woke without the numbness today
Thanks @another_casualty I do feel more relaxed and in control after a few bad days
I tried my online account with PO but it was not resolved so I knew I would need to phone instead.
Today I woke up hungry! I roasted a turkey leg with veggies
The effects of coffee have left me. I will keep going without for a while...It won't last, haha...
I continued to eat a financial frog with a follow up call. I spoke to someone but need to call again on Friday.
I spoke to someone about my mail. They have issued a complaint. I hope my post starts to be delivered soon.
I washed all my woollen clothes. I intend to put these into storage as there are moths here that have already been munching on one of my jumpers! and warmer weather is on its way...hopefully...
My remaining frog will be for this afternoon. My energy provider needs to be contacted.
Building works in the communal area outside!
Have a good day everyone.

I am in awe at the coffee thing, I find I have to cut down rather than go cold turkey or I have hideous headaches. Morrisons Mint Green Tea is lovely, much higher proportion of mint than the expensive brands. I clear the shelves when I go in and they have stock. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Thanks @moneyonmymindsam, @beanielou and @redofromstart (great tip about the tea. I will look out for it)
My relative took a step down health wise and I discovered a mouse in the flat yesterday evening and I was super-stressed. (I have only just left squirrels! I feel like Dr Doolittle. Why are wild animals attracted to wherever I live??)
Today I woke up with nausea, a headache and when I looked in the mirror a bloodshot eye!!!
Today I took a step back. I went for a gentle walk. I bought sonic pugs for the mice. My sister will call environmental health. I had a nice bath, cooked and ate healthy food and listened to music. I've had lots of stress of late and I needed to calm down.
My To Do list took a back step. However, I found out the PO messed up my mail redirection. They are useless but I can't stress about this now. Talking to them is like being stuck in a parallel universe. My mail is going upstairs and it should be redirected downstairs but my friend is going to talk to the postman. Hopefully it can be sorted this way.
Hoping you all had a good day.
