Good work. I think 3 weeks is a nice amount of time, even if one week is on compassionate duties. Good idea about the HandymanI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thanks Mark. The time allowance feels doable. Even during the week I will be on caring duties I have a list of things I can do remotely, so the time won't be wasted. I'm glad you agree about the handyman. I wasn't sure but will book him now. The only issue is removals being fully booked in March as everyone is completing before the SDDL...mark55man said:Good work. Definitely book the handyman if you can, such a small price to pay which will pay dividends in the move stress relief.
What's that saying many hands make light work.. 😂😊😬Grocery challenge Feb £107/£100-epic fail due to cake and biscuits

😼 Great suff DIA!
You are so organised already . Have a great decluttering weekend..6 -
Thanks AC. I am rereading your diary for inspiration. LL advised wrapping your TV in a duvet and your pictures in towels so I will be doing that too. If things were different I would book myself into a posh hotel and spa for a few days by way of celebration. In your diary you were staying in a very nice pad prior to you rented flatanother_casualty said:😼 Great suff DIA!

Inspiration?? mmm...my diary was desperation 😹. I'd have probably still be procrastinating , had it not been for all the help and support I got then from all at mse. I actually thought I was going into a b&b. Only in the last couple of days I realised when I had to send various forms of Id right up until the day I left that dreadful company on my final day with hardly any cash 🙀😹doingitanyway said:

I'd say that the only real pain for you , is when you move you will get another final bill from your landline provider, and possibly energy. You may not. Just make sure you sort out the royal mail redirection in time(which you will because you're organised),ideally for 6 months. Hopefully you'll do another diary once you move 😸
I'll leave it there...

Yes another diary should definitely be considered, as much of this one has been getting yourself in a position to make the move, then getting it done. I'm sure you'll come up with something once you're settled in, until then we'll keep reading here as and when you have a spare minuteI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Don't forget to look at local removal firms, not just the big national ones. I got my lads from gumtr33 and it only cost £200, they grabbed everything, loaded up the van put the things in the different rooms, put the freezer in place, rebuilt the bed and worked so quickly.
If your handyman is up for helping, book him. If he has a van and a couple of mates, they may appreciate making some extra money.
For now, keep de-cluttering and packing, everything will fall into place next month 🤗Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -
So glad you have a decent amount of time to finish packing. Don't just rely on boxes either - those big woven type carrier bags or ones with zips can be useful for bedding, clothes, curtains etc.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
