well done @doingitanyway
your buyer is probably as excited as you (and grateful to have had someone so steady and sensible to deal with), and all the ups and downs of getting can be forgotten now you have sealed the deal.
can't wait to hear the next instalments, but quite understand if you are a little preoccupied over the next few weeksยI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thanks everyone
Yesterday was quite a day! I must have been running on adrenaline like an overexcited child, as I slept really well last night.
I move in a few weeks! I am also caring for my relative for a week. (This is getting trickier as she now needs a restricted diet) This isnโt ideal, but it is what it is, so I managed to get an extra week before completion. I will be able to visit the flat I will be moving to when I go down to hers.
I managed to make a dent on my House To Do list.
My TVL has been cancelled.
Netflix has been cancelled
Water rates have been notified.
I have a removals company coming to quote on Monday
There are small refunds due to me on all the above.
Today I will contact another 2 removal companies
Collect and pack another 2 boxes.
Roll and tie up rugs in unused rooms.
Found a jar of jackfruit so planning a jackfruit curry later. Iโve had it before in another country years ago when it wasnโt fashionable here, but I have never made my own.
I am thinking of contacting a handyman I use sometimes to help me on the day of the move. He can be at the house whilst I am at the storage unit.ย
I will go for a walk later to see if I can scrounge some boxes. I will treat myself to some daffodils, chocolate and a paper (a Saturday saunter as HHOD might say)
Wishing you all a lovely Saturday
