After all the disappointment of late I had a good day
I did a series of stretches today and then went for a walk. Walked 3 miles.
I went to the PO and paid a bill.
I purchased a railcard that will give me discounts on travel to the new area and will repay itself in 3 journeys. I should have done it sooner. Only just realised, but better late than never MSE tick for me
I had a coffee in a cafe that I used to frequent. Such good coffee and nice people. I sat in and made calls and did a bit of life admin. Totally worth the few pounds. It felt nice and normal and got me out of the house.
I bought some PJS and cheap slippers that I pimped by inserting sheepskin inner soles. Joy
I bought some tiny lights to jazz up the rooms for the weekend viewings.
I made soup
The best news of all is: a fellowship I applied for, I got. It was a huge effort to apply and I'm so glad I persevered. A whole month in a stunning location, where all my needs are catered for (free of charge) so I can be creative. So. Very. Pleased.
I hope you had a good day too.
