We spend the afternoon Spring cleaning the garden and we ate dinner outside, which was lovely. Back to work tomorrow, but it’s a short week due to the Easter holidays (even though everyday feels the same!)

i am also looking forward to things getting back to normal. I have a voucher for a facial (Mother’s Day gift), plus a few events to reschedule (football and afternoon tea). Catching up with people I have reconnected with since being stuck at home.
for the past few years, we have done a couple of day trips over Easter and we won’t get that opportunity this year. Likewise, it feels strange not have anything Church related either.10 -
Ooh, which language chanie? 🙂7

For a couple of reasons - Greece is my favourite holiday location in the Mediterranean and I love Ancient Greek mythology (hence the coin collecting). It’s not the easiest language to learn, as the alphabet is so different, but it was the language that interested me the most.
I use the Duolingo app, which is free. I sometimes listen to alphabet/number songs on YouTube as well. I don’t think I’ll get much further than a few basic words and phrases, but I’m enjoying it for now. I think Duolingo would be fun to use before you go on holiday to learn a few phrases.

That's interesting chanie. I remember when we first went to Greece trying to come to terms with the alphabet. DH has a maths background so we used to enjoy trying to decipher the menus in Greek but reading road signs when I was driving was scary. 😁8

It was lovely yesterday, I was upstairs cleaning when I looked out into the back garden, next door were outside playing with their two children (aged 11 and 16). It was so lovely to see them all together. For a moment I wished DS was at home - he is 25 and living in London and, of course, I miss him terribly. He was due to come home at Easter but I doubt that will happen now. However, I am sooooo looking forward to when its over and we plan to go to London to meet up with him. As it happens, another positive outcome for me is that I am saving loads, I am one of those who loves going out and spending money on cuppas and a cake wherever I go! I am saving a small fortuneDebt free and Keeping on Track6

Hello ladies!
Poking my head back in as I need a kick up the bottom to get back into my good habits. I am still working but OH has been furloughed so it's far too easy to just come home and be lazy and not bother with the fabbing!
I did however cut OH's hair for him yesterday, it actually came out quite well considering we couldn't find any hairdressing scissors but I have ordered a set for the next time he is due a trim. It was certainly a better result than some of the funny disasters they have shown online
Tonight I will be doing a self-tan as that always makes me feel a bit healthier-looking, then tomorrow I will be getting back into healthy eating and exercise. Most importantly, though, I am going to focus on good routines (skincare/hair care) and keeping hydrated. At work I've mostly been running off of coffee, so haven't been very hydrated at all.
I have all of the tools I need to keep myself healthy and happy, just lacking motivationx

That's a great idea chanie I will have to have a look at Dualingo, we go to Greece every year and can manage the very basics, can even recognise 'bakery' when written in Greek:) , just shows what I like .
Yesterday we set some seeds which we hadn't been planning on, they were some left over from last year, we were supposed to be on holiday at the moment. Anyway have set lettuce, tomatoes, radish, chives, parsley and basil, along with some flower seeds.
Yes MsP saving a fortune on not going out , no coffees, cakes and lunches out. I had a virtual coffee with my best friend today so that was nice.
Maman hope you enjoyed your roast I had forgotten to tell DH we were having fajitas yesterday and he was a bit disappointed not to get his usual sunday dinner, I promised him I would make one next Sunday.
My excitement for the morning was making a fruitloaf cake and knitting a baby hat !

I can't work out if I have saved any more money being indoors. We seem to be spending a lot on little trips to the shop. I ordered some more cat litter and loo roll from Amazon today.
I just did the same walk as yesterday and I did it in 36 minutes instead of 40 minutes today. I don't feel achy like yesterday as well.I might end up getting more fit after this!
While I was walking I was listening to another Dr Chatterjee podcast and this was about life admin. All the little (often invisible to other people) tasks we have to do that add up and cause us stress. It's funny as I have noticed that I am having to do a to-do list each day to keep me occupied during this time as I obviously haven't had all the little admin stuff I usually have to do on a daily basis.
I am about to have my lunch of a veggie sausage and brown sauce sandwich and then read some more of my book.9
