Good morning
I rarely post on the forum and this is my first post on what is my favourite thread but I am was so moved by your post Helen/LL I felt I have to say how much I support what you have said.
Usually when I read this thread I feel as though I'm with a group of lovely virtual friends so I too have been saddened to see the comments about Sugarbaby and unplanned pregnancies.
I would miss this thread terribly if it was to close. In this difficult time it is friendship and support that will keep us going not unnecessary criticism of others.
I hope everyone has the best day they can today.

Well said LL 👏👏👏
I read yesterday's attacks on SUGARBABY, n was and still am, quite frankly gobsmacked n disturbed by it all:(
Not only has She been through this awful illness, but is now getting attacked, for trying to go about her routine, as She's perfectly entitled to do!🙄
This has always been such an uplifting, friendly and supportive thread , and I'm hoping we can all now put this behind us, n keep on spreading hope, joy n positivity once again 😊
Hope You're ok SUGARBABY xx
PS I also found the response to the pregnancy tests, very negative n distasteful

Hello Ladies,
Thank you LL and all of you other lovely ladies for your support. I am made of tough stuff and a few negative comments were not going to stop me in my tracks. But there are always far more vulnerable persons out there who could be tipped over their own personal edge through being the target of such negativity.
I managed to get 8.5 hours sleep last night, so I have awoken refreshed, energised and feeling like I can start getting some of the small jobs around the home done. I am pacing myself and making sure I have lots of rest, I am not attempting to run before I can walk.
I had to buy a new metal clothes rail, as the rail with my 108 tops on has decided to buckle and warp under the sheer weight of all of the tops. When my son next comes with his laundry, he will have to hang around and help his sister to assemble my new clothes rail. I also had to buy myself a sturdy metal frame 2 step stool. I was having difficulties because of my different types of Arthritis to step un onto the plastic step stool I have owned for decades. There were too many days when I was unable to lift my leg high enough to enable me to get up onto the plastic stool, so now I have a strong, sturdy one that will enable me to reach items in my kitchen and bedroom that have to be stored high up.
When I go out shopping for essentials, I also get some much need fresh air and it is really good air at the moment in London because of the lack of the usual high air pollution and some much needed exercise.I just cannot do aimless walking for the sole purpose of getting exercise.
I am still eating my lovely chicken drumsticks every day with pilau rice, lashings of gravy and vegetables. I never get fed up of eating tasty chicken. As there is just my daughter and I, when I bulk cook, it lasts for up to a week. Neither of us eat big meals, but our downfall is that we normally snack between meals far too much, but now, we are more aware of not getting enough exercise, we snack less. We are also eating smaller portions as neither of us want to gain too much weight in the coming months of self isolation and staying at home.

I am about to have a bath and then put on my favourite navy spotty dress, tights, trainers and sunglasses and later go for a brisk walk to get some fresh air.
I'm putting salt and some drops of rose and geranium essential oil in the bath.
I will walk past and see how busy the shops are and go in if they are okay. My husband went to Coop yesterday and said the shelves were nearly empty! There is nothing I need really, just wants like fresh fruit and salad, so I will see as I walk past to do my daily exercise. I'm going to listen to a new podcast I downloaded onto my phone about how to not feel lonely with social isolation.
I didn't go for a walk in the end yesterday and I think that means I have been in the house for 10 days! I did use my trampoline for 20 minutes so I got some exercise at home.
My husband is off work this weekend so we might watch a film tonight. I have a book I want to finish before then as well.2025 GOALS

Good morning Lovely Ladies
And thank you all for your words of support, especially to the lurkers who took the trouble to post.Good to hear you are ok, SUgarbaby. I know you are a strong lady, me too, but as you say there are others who do not have our mental and emotional resilience. And right now we need all the positivity and optimism we can get if we are going to come through this. I was interested to hear your comments about the air quality in London.I have just posted on the Champagne thread about this very subject. I stepped out last night at around midnight and the air was wonderful, so clean and fresh. The silence was like velvet and the sky was just breathtaking......I have never seen the Pole Star shining so brightly. This morning is the same, the light quality is just amazing.I'll stop waxing lyrical now - I'm running out of superlatives. 😂🤣.Today I'm going to wash some of my summer clothes and then tomorrow, when it's scheduled to be even warmer (18c wahoo) I am going to wash my winter knitwear ready to put away.Have a great day y'all. And keep fabbing.9 -
I must admit to reading the posts last night and I wanted to think before I responded. I too was becoming concerned about the way in which this thread was going. I enjoy the wide range of topics we discuss and the occasional debate, but I do primarily come here for the light hearted chat.Plan for this weekend is to spend time in the garden, We started tidying the garden last week, but we have more to do.8

I just had a brisk 30 minute walk. OMG it was lovely to feel the sun and walk around. There are many more people jogging and cycling around here. I suppose that is good for the health of the UK that we are exercising more.
I walked past a local shop with fresh fruit and veg on stalls outside so I thought that would be a better option than the Coop so I stopped there and got a few things. I looked inside the shop and waited until it was empty and as I was paying some moron walked past me laden with loo roll and I saw that there was another woman who had sneaked in behind me. Grr. I don't know if people don't watch the news or just do not understand what 2 metres is! I had found it quite easy to keep my distance from other people up until that point.
Anyway, on a much brighter note I have felt so much better taking the herbal supplement 5-htp that I have come off my anti-psychotic medication. I was on them for 6 weeks in the end.
This also means that I can have grapefruit again as weirdly you can't have grapefruit on that medication!I bought three ripe pink grapefruits, 4 avocados, tomatoes and a lettuce at the shop just now.
