Good morning lovely ladies.....
POSR. Sorry to hear your sad story......sending you hugs❤️ And keep fabbing. Keep up the TLC! Start putting yourself first and you will start to see the benefits and start to feel better about yourself. I promise you, it works, And if the idea of putting yourself bothers you, Stop It!!! Don't feel guilty. You can't look after others if you don't look after yourself first. Trust me I know this from experience. I just ended up burning myself out. But........now I know that taking care of me is exactly the right thing to do,.......hence my willingness to isolate myself and stay safe out of harms way.I am doing all I can to use this time to the very best advantage - sleep, rest, fresh air, exercise, skin care, healthy meals, taking supplements. But not just physical care, also taking steps to maintain mental health and emotional well being so keeping busy, being productive and keeping myself amused and entertained.Right time for breakfast.......Wheat free banana pancakes and blueberries. Yummy and healthy.Have a great day y'all.7 -
I got up this morning and started working straightaway. Just as I was about to get myself washed, I received a video call. Nobody video calls me without setting it up in advance. That will teach me!!!

Re: what we have been wearing at home during this time, I have gone through my wardrobe and put some of my more comfy tops in my pyjama drawer. I am wearing them on the days I can't be bothered to get properly dressed so I have been wearing half PJ bottoms and half real clothes.
Staying indoors so much has meant I have read a lot from my collection of books that I have at home and on my kindle. I read three books in the last week, all non-fiction.
I am going to start going for daily walks again as I am feeling very sluggish as well as being very detached from the outside world. My psychologist said yesterday that it wasn't good for my mental health to stay indoors completely so I will blame her if I catch the virus, lol. I hope I can keep my distance from other people. My husband said that public transport, the shops and the pharmacy are quite empty at the moment when he has been there.
I keep seeing people talking to each other in my street and they aren't standing far enough apart. Do people not know what 2 metres is?!
I'm off to have a shower and hair wash and get dressed. I am going to use some body oil and also do a deep conditioning treatment for my hair.
I hope everyone is okay.xx6 -

Oh dear!! I've been asked to join a Zoom group during this week. Not sure if I'm up for it.
Glad you've decided to go back to going out Wednesday. Obviously every area is different but around here it's much quieter and people are getting a lot better at recognising 2 metres!
We did our weekly shop yesterday and I was able to get everything I wanted. The pressure to stockpile seems to be fading and people are just doing their ordinary shopping. Aldi was brilliant with limited people allowed in (we went mid afternoon and there were no queues). They've now got screens for the cashiers too so it's keeping them safer. I think it's great that supermarkets are giving their staff bonus payments as a thank you for all their hard work. I do hope this appreciation of key workers will continue after the virus passes.
I was thinking this morning that I'm almost 100% using the flaxseed oil rather than the Clarins serum at the moment. Because we're not going out early in the day I have the time to let it soak in. I must be saving loads of money.
I put a little bit of make up on yesterday to go shopping and it really made me feel better. I've been just putting on a bit of lipstick and my Raybans to go out on our walks but it was overcast yesterday so I did my eyebrows, mascara and lipstick. I tink I might go back to the fake tan to give myself a bit of colour.

Photos finished......wahaay. Well as far as I can go, just need to buy another couple of albums for the last ones. Phew that was a marathon. I Have been ruthless though. I've just kept the best of the best.Still a nasty cold wind, so instead of gardening I have decided to have another Marie Kondo session. I'm really enjoying it. Just having a cuppa and a little break. Going to get out all the summer clothes and check over them, wash them over the weekend and then ditch the ones I no longer like. Again keeping only my favourites. Quality over quantity from now on. 😉.I know I won't be able to dispose of things yet Because the charity shops and the tip are closed but I can box or bag things up in readiness and just keep them in one of the spare rooms for now. Found a load of books I'd forgotten about, some I have not even read yet, some I might reread. Then they can go later too.I am going to be ruthless this time, and keep at it off and on over the next few months. My goal is by the end of 2020 to have completely cleared and disposed of all my extraneous "stuff". I could probably get rid of at least 50% and not even miss it. 😂.7

Hello Ladies,
I am still having plenty of rest and sleep to try to aid my recovery. I still have some of the not pleasant symptoms from this corona virus, that are affecting my health, but I will continue to be patient and take one day at a time.
I went to Lidl in Streatham today to stock up on Cien Herbal Bath and a few other items.
2 of my new books that I bought from my Mother's Day money arrived today.

In this official Government advice is the phrase "Do not leave home if you have symptoms of coronavirus".
!!!!!!!!!! The phrase "I still have some of the not pleasant symptoms from this corona virus" is is not taking account of this advice.

Good morning lovely ladies.Alas I can’t sleep. Why?? because what I have read in the last few posts and what I have witnessed on this thread in the last day or so has deeply upset me.
I started this thread over nine years ago. It has always been a safe place where we all treat each other with courtesy and respect and with kindness, compassion and consideration. Sadly I have not seen much consideration shown to Sugarbaby who has been criticised most rudely for simply going shopping and doing her sons laundry.I would point out that Sugarbaby has had the virus and has now been allowed out of hospital back into the community. She has as much right to go shopping as any of us, more so in fact than some of us because, for a while at least, she is now immune.I find it totally unacceptable that Sugarbaby has been hounded like this. For myself. I made a lighthearted remark passing on my sisters observation about selling three pregnancy test kits in one day. I told the story as light relief to raise a smile. I did not expect and was not happy to be on the receiving end of a tirade about unwanted pregnancies.I am so disappointed. I know it’s rough out there and perhaps some of you are frightened but giving way to hysteria and paranoia is not going to help anyone. Now, more than ever, what is needed is patience, tolerance, understanding, compassion and kindness and, more than anything, the voice of sweet reason.I do not want to see this thread closed. I do not want to see anyone banned so please, can we go back to being positive, helpful and supportive to one another.17
