Maman - I am sending you a PM about somewhere we both have discussed before, thought you might find it interesting. xThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)1

I know what you mean about shops. DH went to the pharmacy yesterday to pick up his regular prescription. He said he did his best to stay 2m away but people kept standing next to him.5 -
I am feeling quite aimless already.
I have been looking through the stocks of food and toiletries I have. The one thing I need to make sure I keep on top of (apart from loo roll) is cat litter as we don't drive and I don't know any shop close to me that sells it. I have booked another grocery delivery for Monday and then all I could get was one for mid April. I had to order some cat litter from Amazon but that will be in a week's time.
I realised that the freezer is mostly food for my husband and the store cupboard is all my food. I will need to adjust that so we can share both of them equally. I'm vegan and he eats mostly vegetarian so I think I will start to buy food that we can both eat as that makes more sense.
I have been cleaning out cupboards so everything feels quite organised. It's tempting to just read the news and then online reactions to the news! I am going to make sure I read a few chapters of a book daily.
Not much fabbing done today! How is everyone else doing?

I read that the first cases that they know of the virus in the UK was 31st January in Newcastle. It made me remember that I was ill just before that date as I was feeling ill for a concert. I had what I thought was some type of bug or virus as it didn't seem exactly like the usual sinus thing I get every year. I did have a cough. It makes me wonder if that was the mild form they say some people have had?
This isolation might be making me paranoid, haha.2025 GOALS

Hello lovely ladies.Wednesday I don't think you are being paranoid at all. I think it could be entirely possible. I have heard several people ask themselves the same question, both in RL and online. That case in Newcastle was the first recorded case, the first one to be tested, there could well have been many more that simply slipped under the radar. Just like now......the number of cases being recorded probably bears no relation to the actual number.I too had a virus in January, I felt ill for weeks and the cough was dreadful, it just went on and on. At one point I felt in danger of ending with cracked ribs, they felt that bad, in fact even now they feel sore sometimes so maybe there is a little fracture that's not quite healed yet. I certainly had a lot of the symptoms.....but it's hard to tell isn't it. Unless we are tested we won't know. There could well be a fair few number of people who contracted the virus before it became well known and who have now produced antibodies. Who knows.4
