Sadly I think the behaviour around this lovely weather has come as a shock to the government. Other agencies like local councils and the National Trust and even McDonald's are leading the way and closing places down where people congregate. We're following the pattern in Italy but about 2 weeks behind. I think we'll see similar sanctions in place, although I don't think I'll be singing from my balcony... because I haven't got one! 😂5

Good morning lovely ladies.A glorious Mornjng here. White over with frost but sun streaming through the window and set to warm up later. Will make it another garden day.Maman. I received a message to say there will be a "sing along" for the NHS but can't remember the date......I can't find it at the moment but I'm sure I'll receive a reminder so will let you know when.😂
Stay well everyone. And if you are in isolation, stay busy and happy.6 -
Not such about the "singalong" but there's a "clap for the NHS" on 26th March at 8pm, asking everyone to go to their front door and applaud.4

Day 1 of trying to work from home with the children. Not going well. Ha ha. I started work at 7am to try and get a head start, but it is difficult now the children are awake. They are now playing, so I can get on with some work (plus have a quick break myself).
Hope everyone is keeping safe.5 -

Thanks I think that must have been what I saw. But I'm sure Maman can sing if she wishes😂🤣
I'm sure you'll get into a routine with the children soon enough chanie. Chatting with my (teacher) DD1 yesterday she said she's going to find it really difficult not to 'teach' the children that come into school although they're only supposed to be offering childcare. Plus it's hardly logical to expect those children, who are in school all day, to do less than the ones at home with the learning packs they've been sent home with. I think reading will feature heavily plus activities which are 'educational' and getting outdoors as much as possible.
It's a glorious day here too. I could be wrong but I'm fully expecting more stringent 'advice' from Boris later today or tomorrow. Nicola Sturgeon and Keir Starmer, for example, are giving a clear message so he's likely to follow suit. We'll definitely get out for a walk today while we can.
I've put plenty of flaxseed oil on my face this morning and will follow up with moisturiser shortly. We might even need suncream soon.

I have actually put sun cream on today.....closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.😂
my skin lesion isn't looking too bad at the moment - but I'm pretty certain it's another basal cell carcinoma. Never mind they are usually very slow growing and are non invasive in the sense that they don't have secondaries or migrate to the major organs. As cancers go they are pretty benign, so I will just wait and see. The NHS has enough to contend with, I doubt they would even look at it at the moment. It's hardly life threatening. So I'll just take extra care, keep it covered and wear sun hats etc.4 -
I think we can expect lockdown any day soon.5

Basically it was telling the morons who won't be sensible to grow up, stop being selfish and take responsibility. As he pointed out, we are not being asked to fight for our country, to be shot at or bombed or live in the trenches for 4 years - we are being asked to go home and watch the telly. That this is how we can serve our country right now.5
