Helen/LL great to see you back here in spite of all the glitches.
Maman pretty dress, love the neckline/bustline detail on it.
Sugarbaby pleased you did not to have to wait too long for the temporary filling, hope all goes well for the extraction.
Wednesday great news on the dental front. I too sometimes spray the mirror if I am a bit un-cordinated when handling the water flosser, this is my third one as I have some teeth when all meat, nuts, breadcrust, seeds etc lodge. I used to make my gums sore prodding to remove the debris.
Chanie great news on the holiday booking. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)7 -
Helen/Lessons - welcome back, as the new you. Its a shame you 'lost' your previous details though. I had a similar problem about a year ago, as I had changed my email address and I couldn't remember my password either. Its worth emailing the admin team, as they may be able to help.

Hello lovely ladies.
well I've had a quick read through. Glad to see you are all doing ok, despite dentist visits etc. Well done on the holiday booking Chanie. And wow PP, 5 lb weight losss. Go you.
Cancelled my massage today, just couldn't face it, in fact I think I need "more" than a massage, my neck/shoulder and arm are really sore. So,I,probably won't type for long. I am going to make an appt to see my old physio ASAP.
Have some storm damage. Not sure how bad but there is some water ingress around the dormer window. Spotted some roofers sorting out a neighbours property and have nabbed them to do a quick temporary repair till I can get a proper job done. Hopefully it will stop any further water damage. There's always something.....lol.
Another one who doesn't care much for the new website. Hey ho, I dare say we will get used to it.
Other than that, not much news. Just feeling a bit fed up with the weather and my aches and pains, I definitely need some sun......

Hello Ladies,
Welcome back LL.Sorry to hear of the health issues you are currently facing and the storm damage to your home
Inspired by the 20:20s for 2020 thread, I devised my own life goals for 2020 but am not actively taking part in the actual thread. My priorities have changed for this year, so self development and family are at the heart of so many of my personal goals for this year.
I have already exceeded my target of £400 savings for this month, so I currently have £3,248 saved.

Good to see you back Helen/LL you were very much missed. If facebook is right we have storm Dennis coming this weekend so batten down the hatches again . ( I still havent found my washing line from the last one ! ) oh well wont be pegging out in the snow Lol
Went for a swim again today . went at dinner time ( Usually go early) and met a lovely couple , They said they was both 87 ! and and had only been married 7 years as theyd both been widowed. Honestly , they have a better social life than me , They had travelled all over the place, and they were keeping themselves fit in the pool , I thought they was amazing , We chatted for ages, I used moisturiser after my shower there. and put face cream / serum on before i came home , Like others have said , my hands arnt good in this weather , but i keep putting hand cream on , My nails REALLY need some TLC, i must try harder with those,
Been to a friends surprise 60th birthday party tonight, It was a good night , diet went out the window a bit as his wife is a briliant cake maker,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it would have been rude not to sample

Good morning lovely ladies.
Moll.......Love the 87 year old newly weds. How fantastic. And let's hope we can stay as fit and as active into old age. Well done on the swimming.
roofer did a quick fix yesterday, will phone their office today for a quote for a proper job. Just hope the temporary repair will hold for storm Dennis, although they have said it shouldn't be as bad.
Gave myself a facial peel yesterday. My new kit has arrived so going to do a six week course of two treatments a week now ready for spring/summer. I've also started using my electric cleansing brush again. It has a massage head too so also giving myself facial massages. My skin definitely looks brighter and has a bit more of a glow since I've started this new regime.
Hands can be a problem this weather but mine aren't too bad just now - less diy, and being more careful to wear both protective gloves for rough and wet work and warm gloves outside.
Right no more typing. I need to nurse my arm.
Have a a great day y'all. Keeep fabbing.

SUgarbaby, meant to say, well done on the savings. That's brilliant. Now that I'm almost finished with the house renovations, like you, my goals this year are mainly about personal development, and especially more time with family and friends.
I'm pleased to say that both my DILs and I are becoming really good close friends now. Although they are as different as chalk from cheese (like my sons) they are both such lovely girls. I love spending time with them.....they have become the daughters I always wanted. I'm so lucky because I know the MIL/DIL can be tricky sometimes. I consider myself very blessed with my family.
Even my sister is behaving herself......lol.8 -
Not a bad day here weatherwise , so met with my friend at dinner time , for a snack . I had jacket potatoe with pulled pork , it was delicious .
Im off for electrolosis on my chin again tomorrow ,( Hair removal ) I usually go once every 2 weeks , but it was so good last time , that we decided to leave it 3 weeks .............bad move, I was resembling a goat ! , so had to get the tweezers out , and will tell her to go back to every 2 weeks again ,
Planned on going through my spare room of clutter today , but got waylaid with other projects, but im determined to get that room , back to normal this year . In fact the whole house is destined to be done , Im going to be ruthless.6 -
Hi everyone don't know if you remember me but I used to post here a few years ago. Lots has happened over that time including a house move. Hope to join you and get fabbing again.
