Went to the gym yesterday after work, going to try and get into a routine of going 3 times a week as I do feel so much better when I exercise regularly.
Have continued my routine of body brushing before a shower and putting on moisturiser after. Have also been using the foot cream regularly, it's almost finished but I've found a part used tub of thick moisturiser which I find quite greasy so will start using it on my feet. My hands are still feeling dry so need to up the hand cream.
Make up wise, it very much depends on how I feel when I get up in the morning but on the days when I make the effort, I put on a little bit of powder, eye shadow, mascara and lipstick. It makes me feel good and I should try to do it every day but some days just getting out of bed and dressed to go to work is a huge effort.
My nails are looking a bit neglected at the moment so will put a bit of time later on into making them look better. I've got a meal out planned with friends this evening so will pick out a nice outfit and put on some makeup for that.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.9.25 - £106,033.77

Thanks ladies. It was a bit of a carp night out last week! At least I didn't spend much money as I left so early, haha.
Well done on the swimming and gym activities ladies! You are putting me to shame.
I have the dental hygienist this morning. I have been using the water flosser, normal floss and an electric toothbrush so I hope it reflects well on my teeth!
I might go and look for some clothes to dye afterwards as I have one red dye left now. I can get the bus from the dentist almost all the way to the street with the chazzers on that I went to the other day.
I have bought myself some treats this week, fresh flowers, a new cat shaped teacup, a book and a new hair dryer. I saw the good reviews of the Revlon hairdryer on Mumsnet.6 -

I had my microdermabrasion treatment last week. It was combined with a facial and whilst it was lovely and relaxing, I haven't noticed an ongoing visible difference with my skin. The beauty therapist told me that dermaplaning gave better results (in her opinion). I don't really want to pay someone to shave my face, as I think its something I could do myself, so I may look into it a bit more.
I booked our family summer holiday yesterday and saved £500 on the booking. We are going to Spain for a week, but there is lots of do in the area, so we should all have a good time.6 -

I've used an exfoliator after my shower this morning. I've got a number of them that I've acquired from gift sets and I thought I'd start working on my arms to improve the texture, especially at the back. I've heard it called chicken skin!
This is the dress I bought in Zara

I have a black tie event coming up and it's also simple enough for evenings on my sunshine holiday. I still need to try it on a few more times though!
Since new year, I've kept up with my foot creaming and manicuring my nails (note to self: 'au naturel' doesn't mean doing nothing.). I've tried a few new recipes although I don't think any will be keepers. I'm walking and dancing every week. I don't count steps as such but my phone does and I often hit 10 000. I started a book but that's as far as that went so must go back to it. I can't claim make up as new because I've always worn the basics. I wouldn't venture past my front door without mascara (unless wearing my Raybans of course).
Sorry to hear about your cold Sheila, that's really dragged on.
Hope your journey to London is uneventful pod.
Let us know how you get on with the new hairdryer Wednesday. Mine (BaByliss) works perfectly well but the nozzle and air vent keep falling off which is annoying. I think it's just that the plastic has expanded with heat over time.
I checked and LL hasn't posted since the old site went down last Thursday so it may well be due to connection problems. The site continues to be a mess. I've had to put all these messages at the end of my post as I couldn't find how to type in front of a quote and even the limited range of smileys won't work properly for me today. .

i think it has made a massive difference as I try to use the water flosser after I eat anything if I'm at home. She said I was doing a fantastic job and I only need to see her every year.2025 GOALS

Hello Ladies,
Yesterday morning I had an emergency dental appointment to replace the filling in my wisdom tooth that fell out on Friday afternoon. It is only a temporary filling as that wisdom tooth is best extracted. I have another dental appointment on Thursday, where I will get a referral for the extraction again to King's Dental Institute, as they refused to extract it last time because they said my blood pressure was too high. The dentist said they should have other options to ensure they can do the extraction in a safe way even with my high blood pressure. I will just have to wait and see how this issue will be resolved.
I had a quiet day yesterday as I did not have much housework to do. I was reading my latest book which I have almost finished as well as relaxing watching TV.
Despite lots of hand creaming my hands and my finger hails are both dry. I cream my hands so many times a day, but I can only presume that the cold weather and the central heating are contributing to my dry finger nails and my dry skin on my hands.

Hi. Yes it's me LL I'm here at last but I've had to re-register.......what a performance. Let's just check and see if this works.6

Well well that seems ok. As you have guessed I got locked out and after several days of messing about I decided the best thing was to just rejoin. Not sure about my new user name....just call me Helen if you like. Or stick with LL if that's what you prefer I really don't mind, although I suppose it would be better for forum rules or whatever if we made it Helen. Lol.
I will need to read all your posts and catch up with you all.
Everything ok here.......some storm damage of course. Otherwise life is just ticking along.
Be back later.....
