I had someone round to fix the sealant on my bath and sink today and I had an appointment with my psychologist this morning as well. I left my house early and went and ate a very nice breakfast in a cafe, it was a sandwich with marinated aubergine and mushrooms, houmous and sweet chilli sauce with a side salad and then I looked around the charity shops afterwards. I bought 6 grey/white tops to use up the rest of the red fabric dye and I'm doing it now.
I am going to have a bubble bath later and I've been good at remembering to put on body lotion recently. I'm also putting cream on my feet at night and then putting on fluffy socks.

had a full day today ......... i dragged myself out of bed to go for a swim ( Only got a few days left on my 6 week trial period ) Thats gone fast hasnt it . I swam 1 and a half hours so i was really pleased with that . then went on to electrolosis , I told her i had had to pluck some big hairs and she said nooooooooooo thats the worst thing to do ? Apparantly you have to trim them ..or shave .................... but if you pluck it makes them grow stronger ! , Anyway ive been re- done all smooth again ,
Then it was off to our DS house with DH to help them put up kitchen cupboards. Looked good when theyd finished , Will give them a lot more storage room ,
Did some more de-cluttering ,, more DVDs in the Chazzer bag , I WILL get onto the clothes im getting rid of ,,,,,,,,,baby steps .
Been invited out to a friends house tomorrow , Theyve had a new puppy , and i want to see it before it grows up , so im looking forward to that , Hope everyone else has had a good day7 -
Hello Ladies,
I had my dental appointment this afternoon and it went okay. No painful procedures.
I bought some chocolates and wrapped them for Valentine's Day for my younger daughter and son as they are 2 of the people I love most in my life and sometimes they need to be reminded of that.
I have a bottle of low alcohol rose wine in the fridge and 2 jerk chicken legs as my son is going to share dinner with me tomorrow. My daughter has to work.

Moll....what yr person said about plucking making hairs stronger is an urban myth....needs must, i would have done the same! no idea why hairs decide to move around the body at a certain age! most pesky!7

One of the tops came out blotchy so that will be a pyjama top, three of the tops came out very well and are a nice red colour. I bought a dark grey fleece zip up and a light grey jumper and they didn't change colour at all! I will still wear them with a bright colour as a contrast as I'm not a big fan of grey.
My husband bought me a card. I forgot it was Valentine's day today.
I saw that there is a jewellers quite near me going out of business and having a closing down sale so I might look to see if they have any pretty silver necklaces as I didn't get any flowers as a gift today, lol. I had already bought myself some flowers this week so that was why he didn't get me any.
I haven't tried that new hair dryer yet so I will try it this weekend.
I meant to buy a magazine yesterday as I used to read them a lot but haven't bought one in years. I just had a fancy to sit down and read something fairly mindless. I can't even remember which ones I used to like.
Do people on here read any ones they would recommend?2025 GOALS

Wednesday I desperately miss having a decent magazine to read. As a teen, i used to read Smash Hits and Big, then moved onto Cosmo and Marie Claire and then onto Closer and Grazia.I don’t think the content of magazines is very good anymore, particularly as you can find interesting things to read online.
I have been trying to get into Women and Home, which is the closest I can find to anything decent. The problem is that it’s full of articles written about white, middle class, wealthy women, think Helen Mirren (sorry LL😀). I did read that they were trying to diversify.
Try and see if your local library does online magazines. I can borrow hundreds of titles for free from the comfort of my own home and it’s a great way to try new reads.8
