must say I DONT LIKE this new MSE forum . ive only just come over and see its all been changed , Im going to have to get to grips with it ,  Hope everyone is safe from Storm Ciara . Had a bit of a downpour didnt we ,

After a quiet January- I did the basics of make up daily and skin care. I was able to start feburary with a bit more focus. I've restarted the gym and swimming. Of course, I picked up loads of swim suits in fun colours in the sales last year as all the navy and black suits are boring and practically can't be found in a hurry amongst my black clothes. I have been able to use the savings to get some training help. 
I got into the spring cleaning early and cleared out frumpy items- the cardigans that look a little dated and some skirts that are too long.  I cleared out items that just were great quality but did not suit me as good as i initially hoped. I may never have capsule wardrobe but hopefully well edited.

Me too.  The site keeps crashing in my tablet and not all of the functions are working.  Hopefully they will iron out all of the bugs quickly and I’m sure it will be much better.

I can't be doing with it either.Much preferred the old layout

I recall Wayne too Sugarbaby. He is quite famous on here! Lol.
I don't like this new MSE layout either. I was going to look to see if I could go and change the settings so it is a different colour or something.
I didn't have a great evening out on Friday. The restaurant I booked had to shut down as all the staff came down with a bug. Then I didn't enjoy the music at the concert so I left early. It was very cold and windy as Ally Pally is on a hill and I was waiting for the bus as I couldn't remember the walk back to the tube station as I have only been there once! I felt like I was coming down with something as well. I still feel a bit stuffed up in my nose but nothing has developed, luckily.
It's weirdly nice and bright today after Ciara hit over the weekend.

Hello Ladies,
What is really strange is that even though Wayne and I go to the same pub, we had not come across each others path for 6 months. There is zero chance of us ever being in a relationship again, but I am fine with talking to him and dancing with him if he asks me to and a lift home in his car will always be welcome! Typical Wayne, he was still insisting that he still loves me and still wants to marry me! LOL!. He talks so much !!!!!!, but now I am immune to his flattery and told him straight that I have no interest in him in that way. He wants us to be friends but I no, I will be friendly if we are in the same pub but there is no need for us to be friends  

Wednesday it is a real shame that your night out on Friday was not as you had hoped.  

I went to a new to me Karaoke in Thornton Heath last night with my friend and her partner. Her partner drives a Jaguar and he is an excellent driver, so a lovely journey to and from the venue. I had a really fun evening. I sang 5 of my usual songs: It's Now Or Never, Hurt So Good, Dream Lover, Lean On Me and Fever

My wisdom tooth filling fell out on Friday and it happened too late for me to get an emergency dental appointment until this morning. I now have a temporary filling until it is finally extracted..

Wednesday - glad to hear good things about the Stranger Things SC, went to the James Bond last year and really enjoyed it. Plus was nice to have a chance to get the posh frock out for a change

I'm not loving the new forum either, don't like the new 'look' and seems harder to quote, do emojis etc. Guess it's a learning curve. I'm off to London tomorrow - well, I'm hoping so anyway, the snow has been coming down today so fingers crossed the trains are all still running! Got my outfit finished off (going 80s punk which is going to be quite fun and not all that different from what I used to wear back in the day lol) so just need to pack and do my general beauty bits tonight. Need to try and loosely stick to the diet - will let myself have a few treats but don't want to come back and have put everything back on again!

I went for a swim this morning ,  It was cold and a bit of an effort to be honest , but i did it , and felt good after   and pleased i got there, did an hour and a half swim , and home ,......all before the snow started,  glad i didnt leave it untill later in the day 
done a bit more de cluttering .  went out for a nice meal with DH, so a good day today . Going to relax now and watch a film , and then write a letter to a friend . We are nice and toasty indoors , Its days like this im glad im retired
