Sheila.....I am so sorry to hear that your daughter has tested positive. You must be very worried, I hope she is ok.7

Sorry to read that Sheila.x
I heard that my psychologist has been ill but she was unable to get a Covid test on time and she has to self-isolate.5 -
I just had my final CBT session with my psychologist. I felt a bit nervous beforehand so I went out for a walk and went to a couple of chazzers. I got a few nice things. A black and white striped Topshop long sleeve, two waterfall cardigans in red and burgundy, a khaki long cardigan and then I saw another shop had a sale on and I got a lovely Dorothy Perkins knee length black dress. It's quite dressy. I would wear that to the Andre Rieu concert when it is rescheduled.
I wore one of my new outfits. I wore the George leggings with my tan boots, a blue jumper, a leopard print necklace and the Hobo bag. The bag is so comfortable as it has a wide strap. The leggings are textured so they feel more like trousers. I feel more confident dressing like this. My husband didn't see me before I left so when I walked in he said is that your new look? He said my bum looked good in the leggings.

Sheila so sorry to hear about your daughter, fingers crossed it is a mild case and she recovers quickly.7

Hope your daughter is OK sheila it is a worry. Like maman I have a daughter who is a teacher, she was ill at the end of last week, fortunately it wasn't covid just her normal bad chest but she did miss a day at school. As most of her feeling ill was Friday night and Saturday/Sunday she didn't have to miss more time. I can't see her getting through winter without catching it, 5 or 6 classes a day of 30 kids plus her tutor group seems to gave her a high risk.6

My concern is that my DD is under such pressure to catch up with the work missed, all the extra planning that goes with it and the timetabled hand washing (I'm serious ☹️) that really eats into the time. I'm afraid she'll get run down and prone to infection.
It was interesting talking to my cousins at the funeral yesterday. We said how much older Covid made us feel because of the definition of what's old. I felt good in my black and white wrap dress and black ballet pumps (with matching handbag 😉). It made me determined to keep looking fab, it's so worth it. 😁
What a sweetie your husband is to compliment you like that Wednesday . I know we keep fab for ourselves but still good to hear that your new look suits you. 😁6 -
Wednesday- congrats the new clothes and the complement from your husband.
shelia -- hope your daughter gets well soon

How are you doing with your lockdown LL? Strangely, I'm starting to think positively about how to spend my time in the next 6 months. It's not as restrictive as last time (yet) but I think it will be important to have a plan. Getting out in the fresh air has to be part of it as this time it'll be winter so not so appealing as the Spring/Summer months.
On the fabbing side, I'm not going for a totally new look like Wednesday but I know my one mile clothes will need a winter boost especially long sleeved tops to wear indoors. I'm also determined to keep up with my hair/eyebrow/foot fabbing in case they are suddenly closed down again. Actually my hairdresser told me she'd come to my home and do 'illegal' home hairdressing if I needed it but not sure if I' d take her up on it. 🤔
Fortunately, the sun has come out again today. We're going to have garden dancing again tomorrow, probably the last this year. We're still making tentative plans to dance (socially distanced) indoors as indoor exercise is still allowed but not sure if it'll be too fiddly to arrange. If it doesn't happen then some other exercise will be essential. Do you think you'll still go to karaoke with the 10 p.m. curfew sugarbaby?🤔5 -
Thanks Maman and Saving.
I went out again to three chazzers. I got lots more stuff! A black lace top, a black jumper, 3 black and white tops, a brown jumper, a pink jumper and a purple jumper. I also bought 2 necklaces and a black and white checked shirt. That is it for clothes I think as I have practically doubled my wardrobe recently! I won't buy any more clothes unless I see something really special. I got in nearly 9000 steps as well.2025 GOALS
