Hello Ladies,
I went out to the pub for a night of dancing and I had a great time. I danced until my legs hurt. The DJ was so talented.
Wayne had asked me to meet him there when he drove me home last Saturday. Well typical Wayne, when he arrived at the pub, he saw me sitting with 2 of my friends and he did not come over to say hello. Much later in the evening I tried to phone him, as I thought he was upstairs, but he did not answer. I tried again 20 minutes later, he did not answer, so I sent a text saying 'Are you still in the pub?' He did not answer my text. I finally realised that at some point he must have left the pub. His loss. I had been having such a fun time dancing, that I had not missed him. When I was on the bus on my way home, Wayne called me, so I just said 'you asked me to meet you in the pub but you left the pub without bothering to even speak to me, okay Wayne' and I just ended the call, as I had nothing else to say to Wayne.
I was chatted up by a nice black man in the pub. He was very complimentary telling me that I was so sexy and how he loves to watch me dance. He made me laugh, as he said he had asked me to dance 2 years ago and I had turned him down. I was amazed he remembered me. I did not talk to him for long but only because I wanted to get back to dancing.

You look lovely Sugarbaby. No wonder men fall at your feet.😉.Hope your back gets better soon, Maman.I've just popped indoors, it is so warm outside I need to come inside for a while where it is cool.Feeling pleased with myself, I did an hrs exercise - a combination Of cardio (mainly dance) and tai chi, with a just a few minutes of weights. Need to build those up slowly. Then I had a great pampering session. Defuzzing, facial and pedicure. Think I'll have a prawn salad for late lunch/tea and cook some chicken for supper. Cheeky Nando's style, healthy version. Nice and easy.No work today.....well it is the sabbath.😁
I'm reading a no holds barred warts and all biography of John Lennon. Such a strange and complex man .........both a gentle and intelligent dreamer and champion of peace and at the same time a mindless thug and violent monster. A product of his appalling messed up childhood. As Mr Spock would say "Fascinating".I won't say I'm enjoying the book as such but it's certainly an interesting read....5 -
Good evening ladies, don't you just love it when you lose a post grrrrrrrr and I can't blame it on the 2 glasses of prosecco.
Had written a long post and somehow lost it just disappeared into a black hole.
Sugarbaby you looked gorgeous for your dance night and navy certainly suits you, I think Wednesday is a navy fan too.
Read the fashion blog Wednesday and it inspired me to clear out 4 binbags of clothes for the Air Ambulance collection due this week.
Not liking the news, sorry your area is in lockdown Sheila it's not looking very hopeful for the whole of the country is it? We had 14 cases here in the past week but who knows what will happen.
Another one who did the Michael Mosley test I scored 2 and DH scored 3 but as you say LL even with a score of 0 you can still catch Covid so I certainly won't be complacent.
Pixie you live in one of my favourite parts of the country we have had some lovely family holidays in South Devon, glad you had a nice outing to Totnes.
Great news about the reference for your son's school chanie it must be quite a headache thesedays having to put choices down, I did have choices when DD and DS went to secondary school but they just wanted to go where their friends went.
Sounds as though we are all getting jabbed ours is booked in this week.
Spent the afternoon repotting a load of geraniums and a couple of houseplants so the geraniums will come under cover soon.
Sorry your back is sore maman, DH sometimes does something very minor and gets a bad back, hope it eases soon.
Meeting my best friend tomorrow for a walk and takeaway coffee, we have kept each other sane for the past 6 months or maybe even the past 40 years, so do hope we don't go into lockdown again.
Hmm maybe another glass of prosecco beckons, have a good evening everyone.

We have a Catholic secondary school across from my home. It's recently gone co-ed (previously boys). What I like about it is the multi cultural roll. There are many Polish catholics but also many Sikhs, Hindu and Muslims as those parents seem to favour the ethos of a faith school.
That being said, many children do like to go where their friends from Primary school go.
Good luck chanie, it's never an easy choice.5 -
Hello Ladies,
Thank you ladies for your compliments about my navy outfit
I had a really great evening at Karaoke last night.I had not sung for over 6 months, but it all came back to me. I sang 3 songs:
1 Return to sender by Elvis
2 It's now or never by Elvis
3 Fever by Peggy Lee
