It does feel very pampering to get your feet taken care of.
I asked about a local massage place nearby but they didn't know anyone that had tried it. Oh yes, they said that you should use heel balm, not lotion, on your feet as lotion is often perfumed and can dry your skin out. I thought that was a good tip. They said you should use balm and a foot file twice a week and that should be enough for anyone without any serious foot problems.
Hmm, I had a clothes try on session and that was less successful than the appointment I had. I didn't like the look of the animal print dress as it swamped me and I wasn't sure about the blazer either. I think I look too Hi-De-Hi in the blazer.
The skinny jeans are a little baggy and I think I need a belt to hold them up. They were a size 14-16 though so maybe I just need to get used to wearing jeans again. I'm used to my leggings feeling very close fitting.
I did like the Hobo tan bag although it is big but apparently it is supposed to be big and they are meant to be back in fashion in 2020. It will be good for chazzer shopping as it looks like it can fit a lot of stuff in.
I hated the red checked shirt, it looked like something my Grandad would wear to bed when they used to babysit me when I was a kid. Lol. It's the wrong length as well as most of the advice I read said any top/cardigan/shirt you wear with skinny jeans or leggings should reach below your bum. Unless you are very slim, I suppose, which I am not!
I definitely liked the tops, the black sun dress, the trainers, the tan boots etc... so not a total fail.

Good morning lovely ladies....That's a bit disappointing Wednesday about your clothes purchases, glad you liked some of them.Looks like today is going to be summers last hurrah here, then autumn proper arrives tomorrow, bang on schedule. Still we've had a great run, A beautiful early spring and a decent summer so we can't complain. Is it going to be a tough winter, only time will tell but. I'm going to prepare for the worst. I'm going to buy some nice warm hats this year for walking. I hate the cold wind on my ears.
Another jump in COVID cases here.😞. It's not looking good. And nationally the news is pretty grim isn't it.Stay safe everyone. Let's tend our gardens, fab our houses, curate our wardrobes, eat and sleep well and nurture our inner goddesses.Maman....hope your back is feeling better.9 -
Wednesday it’s a shame that you didn’t like all of the clothes, but I think it can be helpful to know what you don’t like/doesn’t suit you.
I was looking forward to having a week to myself before hopefully starting my job on Monday, but so far, it’s not going to plan. Firstly, OHs car isn’t working so he has had to take mine to work. I could use public transport, but that would take ages, so I just can be bothered. Now, DS isn’t feeling well and I’ve had to keep him off school, today. I was due to go into my new office today, but have had to tell them I can’t. If I had my car, I could have dropped him off to a family member.5 -
Hello Ladies,
The sun is shining again here in South London. I was out this morning in the sunshine, as I needed to go to the post office and send my sister J and my 2 younger granddaughters who are about to turn 14 and 15 years old their birthday cards with their money in them. I sent them recorded delivery so that they have to be signed for on receipt.
I am still buzzing from having such a lovely weekend. I am so glad to feel well enough to start going out to have a dance or to go to Karaoke. I have really missed having that kind of fun, but it was important that I allowed my body to fully heal from having Covid-19 before starting to go out in the evenings at the weekend.
Wednesday a foot pampering session is always good. I do mine myself at home. I do not want to pay someone else to pamper my feet. At least some of your clothes purchases suited you and are keepers.
Chanie I hope your son is feeling a lot better soon.
I finally lost another 2 pounds in weight.I thought my bathroom scales were going to stay stuck on 16 stones 10 pounds. My 1st weight loss goal is to get down to 15 stones 7 pounds. That was my weight when I went on holiday to Jamaica with my sisters last year, so I know that my fixed waist size 16 skirts will fit me with room and a huge amount of my size 14 tops will fit me really well.

That is annoying Chanie.
Sugarbaby - I hate it when it feels like the scales are stuck at a certain weight. That is good you had a loss.
I just went out for a walk and it is very warm and sunny here. I bought a few food bits from a different Coop than the one I usually go to.
I was looking at this link today.

Well my youngest Daughter's tested positive for Covid, she lives near me but lives alone. What a worry , I've dropped supplies outside including ready meals, cough medicine, fresh lemons, fruit juices. I havent seen her since a week last saturday but I have been in her house to walk the dogs, so I have touched handles. I feel ok at the moment

Shelia I am sorry to hear that your daughter has tested positive for Covid-19. I hope she recovers without any lingering symptoms.
She is fortunate that you are there to support her in practical ways and with emotional support.
Take care of yourself while you are supporting your daughter. I hope you do not get Covid-196 -
Hello Ladies,
My healthier eating is finally starting to give me the desired result.
I usually have fish fingers at lunch time when I want an easy to prepare lunch
Peri Peri chicken breast with a mixed salad
Basa fillet with Nando's hot panfry seasoning baked in the oven with herby olive oil drizzled roast potatoes and green peas

Sending you a big hug sheila. It must be so worrying for you, hopefully your DD will only suffer mildly and will soon recover. My DD is a teacher and I worry that she's daily at risk so I have some idea how you must feel. ☹️7

Thanks everyone, I last saw her on the 12th when we went for a meal. She was busy with work after (temporarily working as site manager at a covid testing site). After seeing me it was all work, except saturday when she had a chinese with 2 friends (sisters) so hardly lived the high life. Although all precautions taken at work you are still handling tests so I think picked it up there. I initially thought that I would have to isolate until 26/9 but track and trace are only interested in people that she's seen in last 48 hours. Although I have been at her house when she's not been in to see to her dogs. I am going to go around this morning, new pair of pjs, porridge, milk and most importantly I am going to get her favourite starbucks from the local drive through! she hates being confined.Enjoy your Wednesday6
