Good Morning lovely ladies
Looking good there Sugarbaby,
Me too Maisie. I'm going to make the most of the next few days, enjoy the sun whilst I can.Just waiting for the dew to dry off the grass a bit and then I can cut it. I have decided I'm definitely getting rid of the lawn next year, it's just too much for me and anyway It's in such a state it's not fit to be called a lawn. I have tried to resurrect it but I think it's beyond redemption. I have decided to extend the hard landscaping to make a bigger seating area and then probably a simple gravel garden. Very calming and zen like. I still have the rocks from the previous Japanese garden that was here a few years ago which I can reuse. Depending on how much that costs then hopefully add a summer house.Anyway that's next year, time to concentrate on the here and now.Today I begin earnest (again!!) 😂🤣.I am not giving up, no matter how many false new dawns and how many times I fall off the wagon. I will persist and I will prevail. We have just over 3 months till Christmas. My target is to lose 12lbs and to be as pain free as possible, to get fitter and stronger.I have already done my allotted exercises for today, Cardio and tai chi. It gets easier each day. And, bonus.....I have lost 2" from my waist. 💃
have a great day.....enjoy the sun and keep fabbing,7 -

Read the fashion blog Wednesday and it inspired me to clear out 4 binbags of clothes for the Air Ambulance collection due this week.4 -
My new clothes arrived this morning so I took everything out of the wardrobe, cleaned the floor of the wardrobe and rearranged everything.
I have to dry my hair and then go to the chiropodist in half an hour but I will probably try on some outfits when I get home.
It feels cooler today. I'm wearing my black maxi dress, a blue vest, a gold leaf necklace, my denim jacket with my blue shopper bag. Gold sandals.2025 GOALS

Thanks for sharing the photo sugarbaby. You coordinate your outfits so well with all the matching accessories. Good that you're back to karaoke, it feels 'normal' to hear about the songs you've been singing.
I have to admit that my coordinating accessories are a bit 'Henry Ford' in that it only happens when they're black! 😉
My back still isn't right. The pain always varies in how long it takes to go away but it is a little better. I have my hair appointment this afternoon so I've laid off the painkillers today as I don't want to drive with a fuzzy head. Tomorrow I'm going to a funeral a couple of hours away so really hope I'll be OK for that.
On the positive side, it's a glorious day here. That's one good thing about various lockdown restrictions is that it's been easier to cope with in good weather.
Some major house fabbing could be happening here in the coming months. It's taken a long time but the house next door (other half of semi) has been sold at last . My elderly neighbour died about 18 months ago but lockdown etc has really dragged the sale out. We'll be working with the new owner on exterior painting, hedging and fencing etc but we'd like to work with them on an extension too. Watch this space.😉6 -
Meant to say......Maman is right. Sleep hygiene is basically about taming our toddler brain. Just as you sometimes need to teach children to sleep by having a quiet wind down period we sometimes have to re-educate our brains on how to switch off and allow us to sleep. After years of insomnia due to stress and mental overload I now generally sleep well, and average a good 7 hours of quality sleep, sometimes more. I do get the odd restless spell but it's usually my own fault because I Have fallen into bad habits again or I have allowed myself to get overtired. I have found sticking to a simple sleep hygiene routine really helps.Check out www.sleepfoundation.org. Everything your ever wanted to about sleep. There's a search bar, just tap in sleep hygiene for advice.7

Beautiful day here and I'm going to make the most of it because I think we only have a few days of warm weather left, have a good day everyone.I try to find joy in life every day even in the more simple pleasures in my life
I am regularly up late. The earliest I usually go to bed is midnight. I am also a natural early riser.5 -
I was walking on air after my chiropody appointment. I hadn't been there before but all the staff were really nice and friendly. The person who did my feet said they were in quite good condition, considering I hadn't gone for years. They also said I looked much younger than my age.
I'm going to go there every three months so I will go just before Christmas. Hopefully, if there isn't another lockdown!

Hello Ladies,
LL and Maman thank you for the gracious comments about my outfits
Maman I always tend to colour match my outfits and all of my accessories. I have enough coloured handbags, sandals and shoes to match all of my different outfits.
LL great news that all of your exercise has paid off in the 2 inch loss around your waist
